I have been after unmasked star lord for a while now. I have found him on eBay with a trusted seller who I have used before.

The problem is, as far as I was aware this was an Amazon exclusive. The box of this pop doesn't have the Amazon sticker on it.

Would you still purchase regardless of sticker?

Honestly to me a sticker is a sticker you shouldn't be buying something just because an exclusive sticker is on a box. If you want the unmasked star lord buy it for that and not because it doesn't have a sticker on it.

Just a side note plenty of the original Walgreens exclusives didn't have the stickers on it. I wouldn't worry

I personally would not. I take pride in getting Pops and Dorbz with stickers (When exclusives). I like them and when people ask about them I can show them all the different stores that I went to find them.

But I agree that stickers shouldn't be a determining factor. My OCD tells me otherwise

I prefer to buy everything with the sticker or prefer everything to be in its original form rather. Like unmasked star lord, when i bought him i would not buy him without a mint box or amazon sticker, because when he was released they released him with a sticker and thats how he was released, some exclusives were released without a sticker, like the Sepia Amazon exclusive Captain America, if i were to buy another another one i would not like a sticker on it. I just like my pops to stay to true to the way they were released, like if i have a sdcc pop, i want an sdcc sticker.

This topic, like a lot of them on this forum, fall under the "opinion" range. A lot of people keep their Pops in box and love stickers, a lot of people don't care about them at all as long as the Pop is what they want. I personally don't care about stickers and all of the boxes end up in my closet, so I can't see the stickers anyway. You just have to figure out what you care more about, and go with that.

I think a lot of Amazon Pops tend to be hit or miss with having a sticker anyway? It just depends.

They probably got it on FPI or something so there was never a sticker on it in the first place. I personally buy stuff for what is in the box, not what is on the box.

That's what I was thinking. I ordered the Amazon Exclusive Ironman and it came without a sticker. I guess it just depends on what you want more and how much you're willing to spend.

I think you have the syntax wrong, I should have clarified. I meant "Stickers Does Not Equal Pops" as in, the sticker doesn't matter to me because i'm not buying for the sticker. I buy for the figure inside.

Oops, I misread. So do I figures-wise. But if there's supposed to be a sticker, then I want a box with a sticker. Otherwise it feels...incomplete. But that's just my OCD talking.

There is a chance that they got it from pc when it was still possible to buy exclusives from there. But Amazon stickers can be really hit or miss. And like others said the sticker shouldn't make or break if you buy a pop or not if it's one you really want for a good price. I've bought stickerless chases that I already have the stickered chase of and traded away the one with the sticker. Long story short stickers can fall off or not be put on in the first place. It's what's inside that counts.

I was going to say that I prefer a sticker if I can get it, but I don't stress over it at all and will not pay more for a sticker. The only possible exception would be for a numbered exclusive bit those are unlikely to be unstickered anyway because they are probably not available overseas without the sticker.

If I have a choice I'll always go for the sticker, but it's not a priority to me. Many POP collectors will all recognize the Unmasked Star Lord as an exclusive anyway and still think it's cool you have it. Also, the stickers fall off every once in a while anyway.

Mine came without as well. Amazon is hit or miss with stickers it seems. Does unmasked Star Lord have a different number than the regular? If so then I would purchase it and I am usually a sticker person.

Don't listen to these naysayers. Buy it with the sticker or don't buy it at all. Using high magnification and special tweezers, very carefully peel the sticker off. Send it securely to a grading service (I recommend PSA) and have the condition documented. They will put it in a sealed container similar to what they use for coins. When they return it, store it in a safe, or better yet, the vault at your local bank. Toss out the Pop and box, who needs them when you have the sticker!

Same thing here. For me, it was Walgreen's exclusive Spider-Gwen Pop.
