Amateur mistake

So my second ever pop was rocket Racoon. I was really chuffed when I got him.

I started a topic about rocket racoon a while back and was informed that there are 5 different variations. So I went and checked mine and it appeared that I had the PX Exclusive ravages rocket. Brilliant I thought. I then noticed the figure was the standard rocket while the box was the Ravagers version.

Annoyed is an inderstatment, mostly so at myself. Amateur mistake.

So I may have made an a** of myself here. I've just checked the pop a lot closer and in better light. I can see the ravagers symbol on his chest.

The question now is, I always thought the Ravagers suit was red, not orange? He is also not flocked

Can anyone shed any light on this? Cheers

So here he is. First thought is that's it's a Fake. The paintings terrible.

Second thought is that he's a regular rocket with the symbol painted on and a fake sticker on the box.

There is 2 versions of the ravager suite one is flocked and one is normal. Hope this helps. If you have any seconds thoughts on something, poppriceguide is a great place to look.

I don't have them so I cannot tell you for sure but by the looks of the pictures sounds like you have a fake. The suite color you have should be the flocked version. Good thing all rockets are under 20$us. Maybe someone with them can tell you forsure

So after doing a bit of digging. It appears that there are loads of one out there which are the same as mine. I can only conclude that there are sooooo many rockets that it's silly now.

. Normal rocket.
. Normal flocked rocket
. Dark orange Ravagers rocket.
. Red Ravagers uniform rocket
. Dark orange Ravagers uniform flocked rocket
. Blue uniform rocket.

Glam colours often don't match up to actual paint colours. The glam colours are deeper and more solid, edited in photoshop or whatever they use.

I agree, everyone makes mistakes, I have been in store and had my phone handy to do a quick search and compare pictures to make sure.

It happens! A few months back I got this itch to collect nightmare before xmas pop and picked up a Day of the Dead Sally on ebay for $35. Thought I got some great deal and found out it was re-released and showing up at target for $10! Not a massive loss, but live and learn!
