I read about this on FB this past weekend and it was quite interesting and VERY scary.

People were talking about box being off, stamps being off, paints being off. It really was very wild.

Yeah right now in one of the major facebook groups, the admins posted a PSA that it is being considered a fake. Side by side comparison pics show that the date sticker doesn't look like a legitimate date sticker and that the white margins are irregular. On top of that you can buy it from a website for $51.00 USD each, 10 at a time.

It's so bad because it is a DANGEROUSLY good replica. It has fooled alot of folks it seems.

I think when it comes to rare/vaulted Pops of higher value if it's too good to be true, it probably is. The exception in my mind would be if it's coming from someone you know personally who is giving you a deal.

My GF and I were looking at the FB info earlier and it does indeed appear to be fake. There are pics of a real one for comparison and while the fake is pretty good, when you see the pics side by side the fake is more obvious. Sorry but it appears you got burned.

Yup the replicas are getting better and better, I recently saw an ebay sale for a shadow trooper and it was listed for sale as a custom, but the box and pop had the details down to a Tee. It was an even better replica than this one, the margins, the date sticker, colors, everything was on point. I can't imagine what would happen if the person who bought that decides to sell it off as the real thing.
