With them showing they are making some villains now to go along with the line, It would be awesome to see them maybe make children's books/graphic novels or even develop a cartoon based on them!

Funko actually just acquired Evil Corp animation studio today.

I don't think that will happen anytime soon. The Facebook/Twitter/Instagram type groups HATE the Monsters because they aren't from movies or whatever excuse they have.

That would be fantastic and I wouldn't be surprised to see that happen at some point. Per the video they are planning on rolling out at LEAST one new series of monsters a year so I imagine it's only a matter of time before there's a set that's "creatures of the night" or some theme like that that glow. Would be really cool if they had glow stripes rather than the whole figure glowing, thinking Tron here.

Yeah I remember the hostility towards these. Didn't stop people from buying them though. The $7 shipping cost on Funko's site is what's stopping me however. A shame cuz that particular one is really cute too.

If there really is a more mainstream cartoon in the works, maybe there could be some demand. But I'm just patiently waiting for a decent price on eBay atm.

Wave 2 has been announced! They will be on the Funko-Shop starting June 22nd.

I just updated the archive(?) on the first page. I noticed that there is a chase not shown in the group photo. It is #14 in the line, Slog with a shelled Grub as the chase. That won’t be any fun to track down.

They definitely went all out with the plushies and the plush key chains. I really hope these sell well so Funko continues to make original character stuff!

It's been kind of a slow Pop year for me, have bought all the Jurassic Park Pops and a few rides but not much beyond that. But these, wow I am all-in on Wetmore Forest, absolutely love every one of them!

It's really awesome to see these finally announced after months of waiting, so naturally I wonder what will be next for the Wetmore Forest monsters? I know I know, getting way ahead of ourselves but it would be fun to throw ideas around and speculate.

Funko is going heavy on the Movie Moments and Comic Moments, so maybe some Westmore Forest Moments? That would be sweet :-)

This was talked about earlier in the thread but some glow monsters would be super cool!
