I just wish Funko would just officially announce that they vaulted him. Word of him being vaulted came from suppliers in the U.S, but nothing was ever announced by Funko.
Heck it’s still listed for pre-order by Ikon collectibles (main supplier for pops in Australia) which makes it even more confusing about what the status for Tenya actually is.
I thought people mentioned their orders were either canceled or being shipped without Tenya.
That's part of the situation. The most recent problem was mostly because of Popcultcha who listed the figure for pre-order and kept customers waiting for months before they cancelled all their orders (which sucked for people who bought the bundle because they sent out the rest of the bundle early. A poor decision that has really reflected poorly on their site). Despite this, some wholesale retailers still have the figure for pre-order and Funko has not yet said anything on whether the figure has been discontinued. At this point, no one knows for sure that the figure is truly gone, although since there were previous mass cancellations in the US the general consensus is that it is discontinued.
Unfortunately, just as with anything Funko, nothing is official until Funko says something. So until then, people who want the figure will either be waiting for a possible restock or paying those hefty aftermarket prices. Either way no one actually wins (except those who are making a profit off the aftermarket)
Will Reggie finally give us Mother 3 before he leaves?
Guess not :p
But will Funko make Earthbound pops before Nintendo (inevitably) releases Mother 3?
I don't think I actually ever introduced myself in the Welcome to Funkoland page
