I don't understand why people hate 8 bit pops so much. If it's not for you don't collect it. A really cool artist probably worked hard to make them and is proud of the results. There are people who like them and like the retro game style, it's not like funko is going to shift to only making 8 bit pops. There are PLENTY of other lines to collect and focus on, if it's not for you just know it's for someone else.

I dig the Funko Shop 8-Bit Turtles versions. As for 8-Bit overall, it's a cool line. I get the criticism, but the designs are mostly solid and appeal to the nostalgia crowd.

I'm on the fence about these. Part of me wants to set em down next to shredder, and I do kinda like the colors. But I told myself I was going to avoid 8-bits for the sake of funds, space, and sanity so I should probably skip em.

Maybe I'll wait a week or two and if they're still in stock I'll make the call then.

I like how Funko incorporated the color to each turtle.

According to some guy on Reddit there are 3,000 of each so they could very well still be there in a few weeks.

I think the turtles, just like the Foot Soldiers work very well in the style! So far Funko has made good choices on what to utilize in the 8-bit style IMo :-)

They'll complete the set from NYCC! That's cool! The 8 Bit Foot Soldiers were getting lonely! lol!

Now interestingly the NYCC Foot Soliders were LE 500 so not everyone can get a full set.

I generally like the 8 bit pops/understand the appeal, but I’m not that into this tmnt line. I’d be all over Nintendo though

Absolutely love em. I've got the Foot Soldiers, most of the mystery box 8-bits, and the new horror ones and they are fantastic.

Combine turtles, crazy colors, and old school fun and you can count on me to buy em. Can't wait to see them in person.

Agreed, the new Horror ones are absolutely awesome! That NES Jason is my favorite. It's nice that it compliments the mystery mini, Reaction, Dorbz, and PSH. Hopefully they make a regular Pop if not I might have to resort to a custom.

I am not a big fan of them, but if they ever get the Nintendo license and do 8 bit mario pop, I will be all over those for sure.

There are too many things for me to list (I had a thread a while back) but the turtles in their trench coats would be hilarious!

Those would be great! They should do new actions poses for the turtles and have the trench coat variant as chases.
