This is one of my favorite characters from the series. They can do so many variations of him as well.

That’s a great idea! I’m surprised they haven’t been done before. I know my nephew would flip out if Funko made these.

Would anyone be interested in the TMNT series that just ended recently on NICK? I grew up w/ the og, but that new series was absolute fire. It was easily one of my fave shows. So i'm hoping they'll make pop based on that. But the odds are slim since a newer version of TMNT will be released on Nick this year. :/

I agree. They should of given this series a longer run, the animation was amazing and the introduction of new characters was making the show more appealing.

Would kill for a 6" Krang, Usagi Yojimbo, Slash, and Metalhead. So much nostalgia right now.

Playmates did a great job with the toy line for that series too. It'd be super sweet to see FUNKO do the same. I know there's a ton of nostalgia for the og series, but the latest one replaced it for me. Like you said, the way they introduced all the characters added a new level for a cartoon. Mikey was classic.

YES! Perhaps the toys aren't replaceable, but the show definitely outdid the original. You need to watch it and you'll thank me. 5 Seasons....get going.

I completely agree with you, the series that ended still had a lot to go and a lot of characters to develop. For instance, that small run that they gave Usagi was just epic, they can explore more into his story and others as well.

As far as the toy line, Playmates was just on another level when it came to action figures. Funko definitely has the means to take this to the next level.

The only thing I'm upset about the toyline is that Ice Cream Kitty never got made...even after they showed a proto at Toy Fair a few years back.

If Funko does the latest series, Ice Cream Kitty will be my grail. :)

Wait, when you say it's better than the original, do you mean that it's better than the original 80's cartoons that I grew up on and show my kids today? If that's what you're saying then I may have to also give this a watch

100% This is coming from a kid who used to have a bowl of TMNT cereal in the bowl that was included w/ the cereal box while watching the cartoon every afternoon after school. ;)

Definitely give the 2012 series a go as there are so many nods to the original. You'll love the hell out of it as the casting is top notch. You'll even have new favorites too compared to the ones you had in the 80s.

I think you can find the series on HULU. I talk this show up to anyone I run into who was a fan of the 80's cartoon.

Again, there are nods to the og which will flip your lid. I expect to hear some feedback after you binge the whole weekend.
