This is actually a great solution I’d think - Funko needs known “brands” or licenses to make pops that will sell, but those licenses come at a cost. Creating their own brands, like the Wetmore Monsters, is great, but having known entities that don’t require licenses like Cleopatra could be beneficial to their business (kind of like the Bigfoot.) I’m a history nerd with a medieval studies degree so I’d be excited to see quasi-historical like Robin Hood or King Arthur plus medieval folk like Richard the Lionheart and Saladin. If that’s too deep in the weeds, I think Cleopatra, Caesar, Henry VIII and wives, and Marie Antoinette would be cool, too.

Ooooh, how about a series of the First Ladies? Eleanor Roosevelt, Michelle Obama, Jackie Kennedy, etc. There could be interesting facts on the back of the box. Funko could chat with the Smithsonian since they exhibit outfits that the First Ladies wore and the Pops could be sold in the museum giftshop and online of course and maybe a portion of the proceeds goes to support museums.
