it'll definitely be cool to come back with this line but with the new design team it won't bring back the same nostalgia for me.

I was able to pre-order some Simpsons pops at EB Games today. Does this mean it's official, no it doesn't. But it's one step closer to a chance of new ones. Hoping for an official announcement during Toy Fair.

I’m praying for NY Toy Fair.

Funko hasn’t been releasing a lot of stuff I’m interested in lately and it kinda leaves me no choice but to fade away and be a fan from the outside looking in.

This would be a line I’d love and it would make me buy a pop again!

Heard he was supposed to be a 7/11 exclusive this year. Probably won't happen though since he got cut from the show.

I don’t think a 7-Eleven exclusive would be a good call, I just want him to be a common.

I could see a common working, but not a 7-Eleven exclusive, that probably raise some controversy.

As much as this is funny and understandable to be tied to 7/11 I think it would shine a negative light on Funko. :freddy3:

I agree, so I was thinking more he should be a common because 7-Eleven exclusives are hard for me to get.

Hopefully the rumors of the starting of treehouse line are true. I really want this line to be as big as dragon ball z with a release every now and then, more sooner than later.
Would love to see

Hans Moleman
Homer with popcorn
Homer holding duff can and remote
Radioactive Homer/Glow in the dark variant also
Evil Homer
Donut head Homer
Bart as Cupcake Kid
Bart holding Slingshot
Lisa as hippie
Duffman
Ralph Wiggum
Matt Groening as a Simpsons character

Not sure if the Simpsons is still popular enough to produce large enough sales to become as large as the DBZ line.

Eh, I think so. Simpson’s has a bigger cultural impact than the dragon ball z, and we’ve haven’t had Pops of this line since the early days of pops. The potential for this line is huge, we just have to wait till these guys come out.

The cultural impact of the show is much larger than DBZ for sure, but people aren't hyped up for the new line as much as almost every DBZ announcement now.

I'm sure Funko will extend the line in the future, but seeing as how not everyone is tuning to the show like in the past I have doubts that Funko is going to expand the line like crazy. Probably only a select few characters and some variants.

Imo, the age of Simpsons collectibles ended when the World of Springfield line ended (which is the better Simpsons collectibles line since they're more show accurate).

Getting excited for these to drop. I keep looking at the originals on eBay, but they are a little out of my reach. Maybe grab Homer one day, but it would be amazing (and expensive) to have all four originals to pair with the new ones.

Why would I? It's not the giant it used to be anymore. Other shows are more a lot more popular than the current iteration.

The massive legacy of the show still remains, but it's just not that popular anymore unlike DBZ.
