If the spacing between Bulbasaur and Charmander is any indication, probably July/August.

Not that I know of but I'd highly suspect Squirtle. We may see a detective pikachu at SDCC *fingers crossed* but it makes sense to finish off the original 3 starters. Or they will throw in a 10 inch Charmander and make us wait longer for a new standard version.

Charmander was my go to in the games but he also had my sympathy vote in the show. Squirtle was definitely the most useful early on in the game and he had the coolest backstory.

I'd love to see an evolution at SDCC or another Con just to spike some interest. I know everyone alrwady wants the pokemon pops, but just to see the madness for an evolved one would be awesome.

haha thats exactly what I was thinking.. 4, 6, 10. That''d be pretty unrealistic, but I feel if they picked the right one to use it would go over incredibility well. To bad there is already a 10 inch Pikachu

Exactly. It's killing me they made a 10 inch Bulbasaur instead of going the evolution route. My wallet and house cannot contain the awesomeness that would come from 6' and 10' evolutions but I'm open to the challenge.
And metallic shinys would be great but I really want them to be chases and high odds, 1:32 or something crazy. I wanna feel like they are as rare as the games made them.

Oh yeah, I forgot about Bulbasaur. Charizard would have some potential though. A mega charizard could look pretty awesome

Agreed on the rarity. That's why I was thinking con exclusive limited number. Those would be amazingly high demand.

Agreed, I'd prefer it as a limited convention run too because I love numbered pops The only issue is that there less of a hunt with a con exclusive. Either you are there or you aren't and if you aren't then you have to find someone willing to sell. With a chase, you could run to stores, order online, etc. Both are good options but either way, I just want them to do it! \:D/

Oh that would be cool to have the higher rarity... but it scares me to think of what a flipper would want for a 1/32 chase.

I think there are pros and cons to both options. Coming from the midwest, it's a trek to get to any major con with exclusi e pops so there is certainly a cost there. I could offset flight and hotel and just pay flippers, but then I'd forego the experience and memory of getting them. And camping for retail drops becomes mundane as well, but the experience of nabbing one in the wild is a great feeling too.

Very true. All we have here in the middle of Kansas is targets and walmarts, I'm sure they get chases in but there are so many collectors and flippers and so few of locations to find Funko that finding a Chase here is.. hmm unheard of. haha we've found a couple chases in the wild before, all of which have been we were were out of state.

I will say, that the first time we found a chase we were at a Books A Million and I'm pretty sure the whole store heard me yell "holy $h!t a chase!" as my wife grabbed it off the shelf. There is definitely excitement that comes along with finding them.

Mewtwo would probably be a good bet come to think of it, especially after it was featured in Detective Pikachu.

Very true. Waiting outside a store hasn't quite gotten old for me. It reminds me of my childhood waiting outside with my family for Black Friday deals and waiting for the Harry Potter book releases at midnight. I waited outside many stores growing up for various reasons and now waiting for Pops it is a huge jolt of nostalgia.
Buying first hand, whether it be in the wild or at a convention brings a bunch of memories and sentimental value to the Pop that you just can't get buying it 3rd hand.
I'm lucky to live in California so I'm relatively close to SDCC and ECCC but this is my first year I'm able to go to either. Hoping to go to ECCC next year.

Mewtwo sdcc #'d exclusive?

I like all options. I'd like a Ash Freddy, that would be cute.
Mewtwo does seem like a likely option as Detective Pikachu (as Nemesis989 stated).

I don't even know how many Squirtle I'm going to buy. In all my saves on Red/Blue, I never chose anyone but Squirtle.

I always start with water types, actually. We can has Mudkip?
Or did you think I'd be too stupid to know what a eugoogoly was?
