New Phoenix POP! looks awesome! Definitely need to add her to my X-men collection. Still want to get the OG one some day.

So happy that we are finally getting the fat Thor we really wanted!! Plus, I get to sell my relatively lame collector corps Cap with Mjolnir and buy the kick-butt new common while still making a profit. Win, win, win!!

So stoked they're releasing that new Cap one with the accurate hands for the hammer and his shield, and with lightning to boot. I'm not paying crazy ebay prices for the MCC one that was never available for me to buy from Amazon for a reasonable price, but this one is way better so I don't have to worry about having missed out. Woo hoo!

I would've liked a BW one as well but I figure we'll be getting tons of her with the movie coming out next year, which I'm super hyped for.

Of the new Marvel Pops this one is the one I'm most excited about as well! When I saw that moment happen in the theater I could picture the Pop and have just been counting down the days until it's in my hands.

Wait? What was that sound? Oh, just the sound of my 10 gallon spit take when I saw everything that was announced this week for Marvel!

October 3 - There are five new POP!s joining the Marvel's 80th Anniversary Line that were just announced. The commons will be Black Widow and Scarlet Witch. The exclusives are Kingpin (Specialty Series), Metallic and battle Damaged Deadpool (BoxLunch) and Iron Man Model 39 (AAA Anime). The only known number is the Iron Man, which is #555!

October 1 - The Fantastic Four are coming to Funko! The common series will include Pop! Mister Fantastic, Pop! Invisible Woman, Pop! Human Torch, Pop! Thing, Pop! Mole Man, Pop! Doctor Doom, Pop! Silver Surfer, Pop! H.E.R.B.I.E., Pop! Super-Skrull and Pop! Galactus. The exclusives will include Thing in disguise (Barnes & Noble), Invisible Woman transforming (Gamestop), Human Torch in suit (Hot Topic), glow Human Torch in suit (Specialty Series) and 10" Thing (Target)

I'm loving these classic appearance Pops. I wish I could get the MCC Box but the F4 Pops, Kingpin, and Scarlet Witch will be mine! These have all had great sculpts to them.

Yeah it's going to be difficult for me not to buy this whole series and I recently said I wanted to cut back, but if I see them in person that'll be hard..

These repaints are just ridiculous. Why would there be a wooden Cap? Hell, I could understand a "frozen" Cap, but this is beyond pointless.

yeah, seems incredibly silly. but it'll probably sell and we'll get them all wooden eventually.

Agreed. They should do a higher end line with real wood. Less plastic equals better for the environment. They could use the recycled packaging like the Earth Day POP!’s and charge a higher price. Maybe one day.

It probably will, I just saw some chrome Jokers that make no sense either but the comments were pretty much about how "great" they looked.

I love cap but I typically avoid chrome. Not a fan. This wood one looks cool but I’ll probably pass. The only thing similar that I’ve picked up is the patina cap.

Absolutely in love with the 80th anniversary pops we got at NYCC! Nick Fury and Ms Marvel look like they stepped right off of the page. The Tony Stark is really good too although I wish the gauntlet was more accurate, they did a good job with his hair sculpt and the body for sure. Would’ve been sick if he was kneeling.

Totally agree that Nick Fury looks so good (still waiting on my Ms Marvel to arrive in mail)and I'm hoping we get Dum Dum Dugan in the future!

Also yes to movie accurate Stark with Gauntlet! Kneeling, wounded with the stone energies coursing from his arm upwards to his body!

yeah, i'm a little unsure about this one. I love most of the molds for Cap, and this one is no different, I'm just really unsure about the direction they are going with the wood grain look. I think I'll hold out and see some pics of it when people get it in their hands before deciding if I need to add this one to my collection.
