I tweeted this to Funko but thought I'd post it here too. I'm super excited about Garfield Pops, but as an avid fan who's been watching and reading Garfield for nearly my entire life, I have some thoughts on the design. When I was a kid I used to draw Garfield a LOT, so I'm pretty familiar with his form, haha. He actually has no space between his ears and eyes. So he shouldn't even have a forehead. I know with Pop style there will be some forehead due to the stylization. But I really think this space should be kept to a minimum. Instead, they gave him about the largest forehead that you could give a Pop. I did some quick adjustments in Photoshop and I really really hope that Funko might be able to make these changes (if it's not too late).

Either way, I'll definitely be buying it because this was 100% my childhood and part of my adulthood. But I'd be quite a bit happier if they could fix that Tyra Banks forehead

I'm actually fine with the Odie design. It's the Garfield designs that threw me off. I'm still probably gonna buy them anyway just because I love Garfield but I really wish they didn't give him a forehead.

There is still no guarantee that these will come out as you can see at the bottom of the picture the concept is still subject to licensor approval. But hopefully they will appear. Yes Garfields forehead looks a bit odd and Odies eyes should be white (although that could look a bit to bland with his body being beige) but I grew up with Garfield so im hoping they will get approval.

Hey guys! I wanted to know if any of you think how great of an idea there would be to have Garfield pops? Id love to see the whole family, with garfield, odie, Jon, Nermal, Arlene, and other variations of them. Even flocked versions would be awesome. Even a garfield holding lasagna Pop would be cool. Who's up for this, and what are your guys thoughts?
