Do you want more 8-bits?

Postby Zebra Armada19 » Sun Sep 09, 2018 3:34 am

Wasn't into 8-bits until Alien and Predator came in to play. Wishing they made more like a Michael Myers 8-bit. Are there any other video game characters you would like to see? (I'm expecting to see a lot of Nintendo lol )

I am with you on the not really digging the 8-Bit figures when they first came out. They have grown on me as more characters have been released. I really like the Wreck It Ralph and Fix It Felix ones from SDCC this year. I would love to see all the classic Nintendo characters in 8-bit form. I think it also would be fun to see more classic Atari characters in 8-Bit form.

Personally no, I don't want any of the current ones so I don't see that changing anytime soon.
Life is full of questions isn't it? Though, naturally I prefer to think of them as Riddles.

8-bits only look good for those game pops like megaman. The others are terrible really.

I’m not a huge fan of 8-bit but there are some of the newer ones that are growing on me.

I like the classic video game characters, but other than those and anything from Wreck-It Ralph, I’m not in to the 8-bit.

Love my Mega Man ones and wouldn't mind seeing some other characters. I also really like the Rampage ones that they made.

I agree, I don’t personally find them appealing, but there are ppl that do. They should just make it an old skool video game line!

This I agree with 100%. I think it worked so well when they did Wreck It Ralph 8 Bit because that was styled to look like an 8 bit game AND they only did the two characters from that game. Not Vanellope.

I’m not a huge fan of 8-bit pops, but they totally make sense for old school games or anything that was in 8-bit. Needless to say though, if they make an iron man 8-bit pop, of course I’ll buy it, sigh.

I do like them. My favourites so far are the Mega Man line, 8 Bit Barb and the Medium Invader...

I would love to have a Simon Belmont from Castlevania II and of course I'm hoping they keep up the convention exclusive Mega Men...grey hued Bubble Lead... a metallic version of some kind...oooo, maybe a flocked Leaf Shield? :-k :-k :-k

not a fan of them at all, was tempted to get the Rampage 3-Pack but just couldn't do it. I would've grabbed the NES Jason though if I ever saw him.

I'm just like you, didnt fancy any of the previous 8-bits till Ralph and Felix came out at SDCC then I got the 8 bit glow Freddys for the glow! Personally i think its a real niche part of pops.

I really like the look of them, but only if they are for old school video games Nintendo, Atari, Sega Genesis. Anything newer than that just looks weird.

I'm kinda neutral with this... I'm not a huge fan of 8-bit, however I don't necessarily dislike them either. I do have a few; the freddy krueger and jason 8-bit to go with my horror collection and of course the Freddy funko 8-bit.

I do not care for 8bit pops. Everyone has specific pops they like to collect and don't collect and 8 bit I do not collect because I don't really care for them.

The horror ones they made make sense, but only in their game colors. I'd like to see an 8 bit scrooge mcduck to be honest, along with other game classics.

Possibly even an arcade Player 2 Superman

Depends on who the 8 bits are.. There are characters that it makes sense for them to turn into 8 bits and there are characters which does not make sense... For me all classic gaming needs to have a 8 bit version of themselves

Not really. I was never a fan how they turned out. When I imagine 8-bit pops being made, I envisioned a more flat 1 dimensional profile. The blocky 3D relief didn't really sit well with me. So to answer the question, NO thanks.

Personally not a fan. It does make sense with some of the pops and characters but I think the 8-bit style takes the "cute" factor away from pops.
