Looking back as it's been over a year since someone suggested these this is one of the rare situations where even though I liked the film back in the days I WOULD NOT WANT TO SEE THESE...This movie made for good laughs back in the day, but I look at it like black face...it may have been acceptable humor back then but total no no in current times and I totally get why...if you don't...think about it...

^^^This right here. I loved the movie when I was a kid, but there's no way that they would risk the possible P.R. nightmare that would come with making them. Personally, I'm okay with them not being made for those reasons.

very valid points, this movie isn't suitable for todays world...thus the pops wouldn't be either imo

100% agree. I remember seeing this movie when I was really young (between the ages of 5-8) and I most definitely did not understand anything that was going on in this movie until I was in middle school. That said, while I liked the movie growing up, it does not hold up. The amount of felonies committed in the name of comedy by both the Tri-Lams and Alpha-Beta is truly unbelievable.

sure, but hey lets get more horror villains that dismember people by the boatload and action heroes that kill more people then the plague. :rolleyes:

Can we please cut the schoolmarm crap for like 5 minutes, because quite frankly most people are sick to death of hearing it. nobody watched Revenge of the Nerds and went on to be a monster because of it, nobody will turn into one after getting a Booger figure for their desk either.

We can reasonably tell the difference between the two completely different genres of films correct? There's a huge difference between a story featuring supernatural or fantastic elements where people get killed and a COMEDY where women are abused for laughs in a college setting. We can go back and forth all day & debate the finer points of which form of entertainment is more harmful or offensive etc but at the end of the day I personally have no issue speaking about these things RESPECTFULLY. Not sure who "most people" are or how sick they are of "schoolmarm crap" as you say, but I'm pretty sure they can tell the difference between apples and oranges as well. Nice try ;-)

they're both movies, both works of fiction and both show people acting inappropriately (though frankly i'd prefer panty raids being done to teen girls instead of dismembering them, but I guess i'm old fashioned like that). I can point to plenty of other figures made for by this company and others wanted by this community of people who are far worse towards women and the general populace then the Nerds ever were.

All well and good & again we could bicker back and forth about it for years...my thing is always no matter how the opinions differ we can always do it RESPECTFULLY...tastes and opinions aside these conversations have traditionally been done so on this forum in that fashion. The troll sarcasm and insults never need to be a part of this...we're still talking about toys here ;-)
