If it was 1,000 I would expect to see more than 3 available on Ebay right now. There are more bronze than rookies on there. I circled the concourse twice looking at everyone's and saw none with the eye black or 24 on the front. If there were 1,000 that would be about 1 in 19 and I should be have an easier time obtaining one and wouldn't expect them to be going for $500 to $2,000 on ebay.

I wish Funko could come out a verify that it was either 100 or 1000 pieces......that is the only way to drive the price in the right direction. Right now, I think people are worried about buying/selling at any set value until they clear up the mistake on way or another. I have a friend that got me one of the commons at the game and I am waiting it out to see where the value of the rookie piece ends up once the confusion clears before pulling the trigger on anything.

I saw one of the HQ ones was listed on Mercari yesterday (?). Selling for $1,500, not a bad little flip. At that price, I could buy a plane ticket and wait at HQ myself (assuming they add a few each day).
