Mickey Mouse Exhibit Pops in NYC!

Some DIY Mickey's were spotted in Hong Kong soo it does look like people will be able to customize Mickey's soon

I kind of want to see an updated version of the original DIY pops but seeing how pop designs have heavily diverged it probably wouldn’t work

Hopefully we’ll get other DIYs of other characters though

The colorways are timed releases. Meaning not every colorway is available today. They will release a new colorway every two weeks.

204 hopefully might mean only that number on site delivery. there would be hope that there is an online release with a significantly larger number of releases. from my point of view 204 might only represent the number they were willing to lug to the exhibit. those suckers are big haha. sell direct from washington or wherever they would be coming from. some from a warehouse in california right ?

You are being way too optimistic If you really want one I'd go make an offer for $250 on one of the ones on eBay.

The line was an interesting experience. I got on it like 8PM and there were a handful of people....I'd say it was 50 50 pop people and sneaker heads. It was definitely cold and definitely rainy. Everyone was civil. Around 3 or 4 AM it was around 60 or 70 people. Rush at the door around opening for tickets. Some pushing and shoving. Take away the cold and being exposed to the elements and was an OK experience but I don't know if I'd do it again for so long. I mainly went down to see who was there. Once I saw the sneaker heads there I figured I'd stay just to make sure I wouldn't have issues later. Considering how aggressive some of those guys are I didnt want to try and leave and come back to any issues. I'll be back for the others and hopefully the sneaker heads will let me slip in with them during the wee hours

How many people were in line by the time they opened?

Had to be around 200, but there were a lot of Sneaker heads cutting the line who showed up last minute and got in. Lot's of shady stuff going on, and the staff not catching it. People were calling them out, but staff members were making excuses about this being the first day and that their system will get better. People bring 4-5 people handing them cash and leaving with multiple pops. Then you get people trying to line up again, changing their clothes to try and dupe staff members.

The exhibit is supposed to go in New York through mid-February. It also states in the FAQs that they may be showing the exhibit in other cities. If they do that and it comes to some West Coast cities, my hope is that they will release these in each city the exhibition shows.
