This is the year guys! Hopefully we can see some good old remolds with a special looking anniversary box? I’m always hopeful.

My local con a couple of years ago had most if not all the actors here. Some of the puppeteers were there like Big Bird and he was signing pops and would have been nice to have Pops of the actors to sign as well.

That 50th logo would look nice.
I'd like if they did variants instead of bringing back the same molds if they went back to the characters already done. Like maybe Bert & Ernie in their pajamas as new figures

I wouldn’t mind that! Maybe remold variants? I like your idea of Bert and Ernie. How about Elmo holding his pet fish bowl? Oscar the Grouch with wilted flowers? The Count, holding up a number. Cookie Monster dressed as a chef with a jar of cookies. I’d like a lot of variants that harcken back to the early episodes if it were an anniversary line.

Would be a perfect way to reintroduce the line. It'll probably end up at B&N though
Will Reggie finally give us Mother 3 before he leaves?

...

Guess not :p

...

But will Funko make Earthbound pops before Nintendo (inevitably) releases Mother 3?

...

I don't think I actually ever introduced myself in the Welcome to Funkoland page :-k

I just watched TheTimTracker do a video on the Sesame Street construction at Sea World Orlando and the shop looks like its going to be huge. Made me think they could do a park exclusive Sesame Street Pop there. Looks like its going to be a great addition to the Park.

I hope it’s just a flocking of a previous character because, I don’t wanna be screwed over with a new character that’s an exclusive to there.

Pretty big news on the Sesame Street front. Only one Jim Henson Pop was thought to come out, but a variant with Ernie is coming too

Image

What's huge about this? Not only is it a new Sesame Street figure to collect, but it signals that Funko has the Sesame license again after having it expire when the previous Pops were put in the vault. This makes the chances of a 50th line significantly higher and almost likely

This gives some hope as in both the Muppet license and the Sesame license are still with Funko. So maybe a new line later this year just have to wait and see what happens
