We need more Stan Lee Pops!

With the passing of the legendary Marvel creator Stan Lee, there has been a demand for his past pops. I wonder and hope that Funko will continue and or commemorate his life with future Stan Lee pops. The one I hope may come to fruition in time for SDCC 2019 (50th anniversary) or for his LA Comikaze show is the Thor Ragnarok Stan.
Which ones would you want to see? And do you think Funko has one in the works?

I don’t think the cameo pops sold very well before Monday. I could see them putting Stan Lee in the Icon line. Sorry, but Stan the Man deserves one well before George R.R. Martin. Jack Kirby as well. I would hope at least Stan would be next after the first wave of Martin, Disney, Lucas, Henson, Seuss, and King

Considering the thousands of Marvel Funko Pops that Stan Lee has personally signed at his cons, I do believe one more pop is in order.

I haven’t been too big on the 10” pops so far. I only have the Thanos to date. If they made a 10” Stan I’d for sure grab it though. There is no one more deserving imo!

Hey Gavin, I totally can see your view point.
There’s always going to be critics in the idea of having something made to commemorate the passing of an icon. At the present time, there are many who try to profit on his death.

The idea of another Stan Lee Pop isn’t meant to be in retail in time for Christmas but as mentioned, would be months or even a year later depending on the wishes of the estate of Stan Lee.

Just like a coin has a head and a tail side, there will be those for are for it... and against it. In the end, it’s wishful thinkng for another Stan Lee Pop. If not, I’m okay with that also

Stan Lee only has his 68 year old daughter and his younger brother (87 years old) who likely have taken over some of the business operations. I don’t see continuing to get the rights as an issue.

Some of those are NOT Stan creations and I would consider it a MAJOR disrespect to Stan and the writers and artists who actually created those characters if they put Stan's head on them. I would also tread lightly in suggesting that Funko puts a white person's head on a black person's body.

I would love if Funko did this, they would just have to be very careful to keep it as only characters Stan Created. Some great additional ones would be Doctor Strange, Daredevil and Spider-Man!

Does anyone know how long the website, StanLeeCollectibles.com has been down? I just noticed today, and I'm pretty sure I remember seeing a website there about a year ago. The domain name is advertised on the Pop's and other Stan Lee merchandise. It looks like they maybe forgot to renew it?

Never was able to get the General version of him, and now I know it will be a pipe dream forever.

That said, I would LOVE for them to make a Stan pop that was maybe parts of characters he created.

Head- Stan's face and glasses with Loki horns or Captain America helmet with Vision forehead gem
Chest- Either Iron Man or Spider-Man
Back- Doctor Strange cape or Cap's shield
Right arm- Spider-man with Wolverine claws
Left arm- Hulk with mjolnir
Left leg- Black Panther, Juggernaut or Groot
Right leg- Silver Surfer or Iceman

I'm sure there are a lot of other options, but I'd be interested in a new one for sure!

I don't think that they should use CGI (except for Animated films), but I think that pictures and other hints would be perfect! I know in some of the TV shows he has been featured in "our founder" type pictures as the Police or Fire chief.
