Transformers Pop

Hey everybody! This is my first post so bear with me if this has already been shared and is old news, but I discovered this tonight and thought I should share! I was going through eBay and discovered there is a Stinger exclusive Pop! with Walmart that was supposedly discontinued. They are selling for $30+ on eBay so I went to Walmart's website to see if any were available. It is not available on its on, BUT it is available in a set! You get Optimus, Drift, Stinger, and Bumblebee with cannon all for only $32.78!!!!!!!!! Considering you have to pay over $30 for just Stinger, then this seems like a heck of a deal! According to funkopoppriceguide, the total value in all four is $62, so it definitely seems worth it to me. Especially if you don't have any of the Transformers already! Again, I am sorry if this has already been shared, but I got excited! I look forward to contributing to this forum more in the future!

Don't expect the exclusive Bumblebee in that set. There is another thread where people said they received the regular Bumblebee.

Wrong, the bumblebee is in the set, I know, I bought it. Yes, this is a very awesome bundle, definitely buy it if you liked the movie.

So stopped in Walmart to pick up some stuff today and there was a Stinger on the shelf. Box was kind of banged up so I'm thinking maybe someone returned it? Either way, I got Stinger for 8.78 plus tax. It also rang up as just "Stinger" at the register.

Very good question! I've been wanting G1 Transformers Pops for a while and have no interest in the movie ones. It puzzles me that we have G1 Hikaris but no Pops.

I've been saying this since I started collecting and came across the movie Optimus. I bought him because well, it's Optimus, but I've been dreaming since that day for more of the cartoon versions. I wouldn't hesitate to have my own little Transformer army, good and bad.

Optimus, Bumblebee, Megatron, Shockwave, Soundwave, Starscream, Grimlock, Rodimus, Jazz and so many more.

yeah like how is it we can get the 1984 G.I. Joe POP! but we haven't seen 1984 G1 Transformers. Also why I didn't put the likes of Bumblebee & Megatron in the first wave is of 2 reasons.

1. It seems like anything with Transformers the ones that anyone does first are Optimus Bumblebee,Megatron & Starscream. I wanted to do something a little different put Bumblebee & Megatron in the second wave.

2. The way Funko did there verison of G.I. Joe they didn't add Duke or Destro in the first series like alot of places do have Duke,Snake Eye,Cobra Commander & Destro first. So that is why I mix it up a little bit. Also with Rumble he has to be blue not red. Red is for Frenzy I go by the cartoon and that is what I go by is the cartoon and not the comics.

Hasbro won't let it happen. They own the Transformers. That's why there isn't merchandise for TF that isn't movie related unless Hasbro makes it.

It's their property, not something they have the license for, so letting some other company make money off of your property isn't good for business.

The Transformers Loyal Subjects are G1. We also have G1 wobblers and Hikari. GI Joe is also Hasbro's so they definitely do allow other companies to license their brands.

There not different and yes Loyal Subject has done the G1 Transformers and it's funny that these so call 3rd party is doing Transformers and they look like the G1. I may not like the 3rd party verison but to me they are still G1 Transformers.

I have the old Hard Hero Transformer G1 busts that were released in the early 2000s, so I would want Pops to match the ones I have, that would be:

Optimus Prime
Megatron
Starscream
Soundwave
Devastator (6")
Hot Rod
Wheeljack
Jazz
Prowl
Iron Hide
Ultra Magnus
Grimlock
Shockwave (low priority as I don't display this one).

Outside of those:
Skywarp
Thundercracker
Trax
Bumble Bee
Ratchet

There are likely others that I am forgetting, but these are the main ones I would like.

I only have the movie version of Optimus, couldn't bring myself to get any of the others,
Would LOVE for the old cartoon style done in Pops.
Without a doubt I'd get:

Optimus Prime
Grimlock- Both forms
Megatron
Starscream
Bubblebee
Jazz
Soundwave
Soundwave w a small Ravage
Shockwave
6 or 10 inch Constructicon
6 or 10 inch Defensor
Any other Dinobot
