They are going to make Grease Pops, maybe we can still hope for a future musical theatre line if they sell a lot of them ^^

Yes. More musical pops would be fantastic. My old roommate was obsessed with Wicked. Maybe they could do pops based off of that.

Yes Yes and Yes!!! I would absolutely love for a line of broadway/ musical pops.
It would be good marketing as well because they would be bringing in a crowd not normally attracted to toys maybe. They also could sell these pops on broadway and as part of the merchandise for touring broadway shows . If I went to see the book of Mormon for the 5th time, I would want to purchase pops to remember my night out at the play.

Very good idea ! Selling them on Broadway with other goodies from the show would work ! I think people would buy them really easily just after seeing a musical !

Great idea to be able to pick them up as soon as you finish watching the performance. I would definitely pick up a few.

Re: How would you think about a musical theatre line?
I'll be honest, I'm a little surprised that Funko HASN'T done something like this yet. Especially Hamilton.
I've heard rumors of Little Shop Pops on the horizon, but I think those are based on the Frank Oz movie and not necessarily the stage show (it's my favorite musical of all time, so if these rumors are true, I'm SUPER stoked). But yeah, give us Phantom, Sweeney Todd, Avenue Q, Hamilton, and Wicked. Especially Wicked. Give us all of the Wicked.

Re: How would you think about a musical theatre line?
Hamilton and Dear Evan Hansen would be great. I love some of the Hamilton customs I've seen on Etsy. I've been so close to buying some on multiple occasions. Has Funko ever paired with a charity? I feel like both shows are great opportunities to donate a portion of the profits; DEH especially could benefit some bullying/suicide charities.
Also, while not musical theatre per se, I really hope Funko eventually makes Pops for Cursed Child. I need Scorpius, Albus, and Delphi!

That's a great idea ! I'd love to see someone give that idea to Funko ! It would help and makes sense !
O I thought about it ! That would me amaaaaaaazing ! When I read the script I was kind of disappointed but when I had the chance to see the play I looooved it so much ! I want a Scorpius' Pop in my life !
I just listened to Spongebob Squarepants and Once on this Island the revival and I keep imagining how great Pops would look like ! C'mon Funko pleaaaaaaaaaaase we need that musical line ! Please ! XD

Cole Porter Pop!? Getting some of the musicals writers/directors could be cool too. I wish we'd get Hamilton Pops!, it would be such a neat collection. Especially if it is the OB cast. Cabaret would be so fun! And not going to lie I would love to have an Alan Cummings Pop! from anything.

I'm not too sure about the musical. I suppose for some musicals this would make sense. But other musicals about movies or books that already has a pop, how would this differ too much....though I guess we do have tv vs movie versions of the same character..so it may work

Well there are a looot of original musicals ^^ And for those based on books or movies it's easy to create because a lot of people are working on the actors' costumes so they are unique ( I think about Spongebob recently ^^). Especially if the Pops represent specific castings (and I don't think a lot of Pops have been based on movies that became musicals so that would be easy to avoid similarities). Some persons are already making customs and they are great ! ^^

Yeah OBC casts would be sooo cool ! Cabaret is a great idea ! And if that line expends directors would be clever, I mean, everybody knows Sondheim for example so it should sell well !

Broadway Pops would probably send me into bankruptcy. . .and too many good shows to choose from. If they made a Jack Kelly from Newsies, I'm pretty sure my 6-year old daughter would pass out

I've always thought this would be a great idea. I grew up with musicals and I still love them. The licensing might be a pain in the you know what, but I think they would sell well.

That would be fun. I saw RENT on Broadway and highly enjoyed it. If Pops existed for that, I would of considered picking a few up.

That will be some classical like Romeo and Juliet, but I like better the new ones like Lion King.
