Pop Lego Figures?

Postby GuruGuy128 » Fri Dec 07, 2018 3:54 pm

So, I imagining a Funko versions of Lego Minifigures, I know that sounds weird a toy figure of a toy figure, but I think it could work. There's a lot of detail that goes into both of them.

I think it could possibly have potential, but with the largest part being the head, I think too many would just end up looking the same for the most part. I think it would only work for unique licensed things like Vader, Iron Man, etc.

As a Lego and Funko collector I personally hope this doesn’t happen because I don’t need another reason to spend more money lol

Since Lego is a direct competitor of Funko, I don’t see them giving their licensing to make “Pop size” versions of their Mini-figures.

If anything, Lego could easily make a 4 inch size Lego’s

Lego would be pretty dumb to allow their images to be used to make pops. They are already doing fine on their own.

They all have the same body, even me and female. Only the head and the clothing will be the difference.

I think I want to keep these two collectible lines separate. To morph them together would be too odd for me.

Lego has their brickheadz line that is close to the size of a pop, they have been slowly expanding that line

Lego tends to be fairly protective of their brand so it does seem unlikely. I also think the aesthetics that make each of the brands special are somewhat better separate but that's just my opinion :freddy1:

Kids love the lego movie. I think any of those characters would be great. It doesn't make sense for lego to give out their license when they are a toy company.

This would be the equivalent of Burger King allowing mcds to sell Whoppers, never going to happen. I like keeping the brands separate lego products are more for your imagination anyway.
