It sucks for those that attend the event. It's nice to be able to have something that you can only get by attending events why pay $300 to go to a special event when everything is available to the public
Actually I know of quite a few who attended the event. (Heard from my friends that is was a great event) and they were able to get their hands on 10 and more. Basically resold them more than twice and selling afew was basically able to cover their dinner
That's awsome for your friends but I'm not talking about getting multiples ato resell. I go to a few of the events a year and like to be able to get mementos that were only available to the people at the shows/events some collectables are ment to be LE and hard to find everything dosnt need to be made in huge quantities and sold to everyone
I'm sure there were plenty of other mementos that you could have picked up exclusively at the event. There were LE pieces that I'm sure sold out. Since it didn't have an LE attached to it in the catalog, I'd feel like it would safe to assume these wouldn't sell out at the event, and would be widely available. It does say a theme park exclusive, not a party exclusive. They did make much more than I thought they would, though! It's Funko, and the more widely available they are to people, the more people are going to buy. I feel like the only way to really get something that is event exclusive that is Funko, is to attend Fundays. Outside of Fundays, I think Funko would lose some fanbase over seriously limited pieces (I did see quite a few people say they were fed up with Funko and sold their collection over Andy Dwyer, which is a little silly, since that was a little bit of an anomaly in the whole scheme of things).
