I’ve said a million times but I’ll say it again.

Us Marvel comic fans get absolutely robbed when it comes to pops. They’re soooo many to make and we don’t even have a lot of A list heroes and villains. It seriously bothers me. I know they try and make as much as they can from different liscenses but you can’t neglect completely something this big. One pop every 3 months just isn’t enough especially since we get 4 Sour Patch Kids pops in one drop and pop pez out the wazoo!

Its frustrating for someone who collects the Marvel and DC comic pops as their number one subject matter.

Outside of comic related things I can’t tell you the last Funko made something I REALLY care about. Avatar pops were cool and I’ll pick them up eventually but I’m not THAT huge into that. Maybe I’ll never pick them up. Last great thing honestly was probably Parks and Rec and that was a while now.

They make a lot of random stuff anymore it feels.

Not a huge Marvel fan, but I'd love to see some non-spidey pops. Would love to see some based on the 90s x-men cartoon, patch (madripoor wolverine), Uatu, Armor, Beyonder, the original Guardians of the Galaxy, and some Celestials.

I'd love a Young Avengers line! Hulkling, Wiccan, and Kate Bishop come to mind as ones that I'd really go for. (That being said, I'd also support a Matt Fraction comic book Hawkeye pop).

You pretty much nail things on the head. My take... as you said, there’s already a set of fans for Marvel and DC. The introduction of other pops like Sour Patch kids could be a ploy to attract newer fans.

Most Marvel pops have been interconnected with the movies aside from the MCC boxes so that may also be a factor why it’s hard to introduce new characters. I mean, they have specific artists who work with mainly “hero” characters. I doubt that Artist is spending time to fabricate the “sour patch” kids pop so that could be more of a newer artist doing these.

lots more xmen. sad that only angel was at the last box. any reason why funko delays releasing new characters? even the nytf was just phoenix. looked cool btw, but just wanted more new stuff.
