Great list! Of these, I’d really love a Maester Aemon, Robert Baratheon, Pod (normal or Kings guard), Sir Barristan and Catelyn Stark. Also on my want list would be a Mad King and Jon’s parents, Lyanna Stark and Rhaegar Targaryen

The GoT Pop!s keep trickling out, and my I NEED IT list is totally growing. I always have the worst luck with Walmart, but hoping I'm able to catch The Mountain online. Kind of sucks that this version is a 6" when his original gold armor release was a normal size.

I do kind of want the HBO exclusive Night King this time around, which I don't have any of their exclusives. It seems to be a poop show from what I can tell from their past releases, so I'll be completely happy with the common either way. I don't think I have any glow GoT, though, so it would be awesome to add to the collection!

The new wave looks great, though. Just need to make more shelf space.

I'm getting so excited for SDCC because there's gotta be at least one exclusive, and I can't wait to see what it'll be.

Are they serious with this? These are all slight variations of something already available. I'm starting to feel like Funko has jumped the shark. If I have to wonder if every Pop I buy is going to be replaced by something slightly cooler (fire from Drogon, helmet on the Mountain, broken shield on Captain America) a few months down the road, why buy anything at all. I don't like feeling like I am being taken advantage of, and that is what it is starting to feel like. A good company that was serious about supporting and growing its fan base would focus on making the best version of every Pop, every time.

I'm now convinced queen in the north Sansa will be an SDCC exclusive and since HMV no longer get the Game of Thrones exclusives in the U.K., I won't be able to get her. The ECCC Arya one didn't make it over here so I'm not sure any others would either.

While they use the same mold or whatever, they do each mean something to the show. The new Dany isn't wearing the same clothes as the first released version, and of course Drogon is breathing fire. Bran is wearing his new King-ly clothes rather than what he wore in the north. While the same in some aspects, they are still different. You shouldn't feel like Funko is taking advantage of you because they are making variants, which we all know there are TONS of variants for many characters, and not always with a different mold.

Definitely the best way to go about it. I’m all about getting stuff for retail also, but if I don’t with this one than I will have to be really patient. Prices will be highest right after it drops and the flippers are trying to get their cut so patience will be key with this one

It’s just a part of pop collecting, there are bound to be many variations of any single character especially for really popular licenses. The Batman mold has been recolored who knows how many times. Plus the “best version” is really subjective so if you like something you should buy it, and if later on the future something you like more comes out, then you have something you like and something you like even more.

I'm loving the new pops but I also don't have an "OMG I need these" reaction to them. Maybe because it's mostly the same characters.....maybe it's because I want my darn direwolves.
