The Colonel with the bucket is the better version in my opinion. The other just looks like a old man with a cane. The bucket makes it.

I'm happy I actually was able to score on the funko shop one and got the other one from Amazon. No I hope amazon doesn't crush my box.

I have the same thought. But I find the lines get blurred for me when trying to consider what a significant difference is. Is GITD significant? Metallic paint?

I have a feeling most people might feel the same. I actually had an easy time getting the funko shop one, but can't get my hands on him holding the bucket of chicken.... all my local stores are sold out. Hopefully I'll catch him on the restock since it's a common.

The bucket one seems harder to track down than the shop one was. Resorted to online for the bucket as most everywhere is sold out many online are sold out as well

I'm in the same boat. I got the Funko Shop one pretty easy but I haven't seen any with buckets around me and I guess been too slow when they show up online.

I didn't even know that Pimp Cane Colonel was a thing at first until it was announced n the funko shop. I am one hundred percent okay with Pimp Cane Colonel - lol

I'll take him any day of the week.

Yeah. GITD, for me, it depends on the glow. If it's just a random glowing eye variant? Eh. Not going to bother getting both. If the glow is truly amazing and changes the whole look of the Pop (like the different colors of GITD Duck Dodger Pops), I'd probably consider getting the GITD as well.

I’m glad they did Colonel Sanders pop and got the pimp cane version since it was easy to obtain. Too many more variations would be overkill.

It is an Icon, I was initially confused that it was an Ad Icon! Funko Pop but the number 05 threw me off so I google'd it and forgot Icons is a new line with George R.R. Martin as 01. He's an icon because although he was used in advertising for KFC he was an actual person.

But isn’t he iconic in the advertising/branding of KFC as opposed to an iconic person? I only know of him because of commercial advertising so I could be wrong. I get that he is also an actual person, but outside of KFC ads I don’t know of him being some sort of Iconic Person.
