Martial Arts Masters

Postby LLana » Thu Feb 07, 2019 2:27 am

I was thinking about the Shaw Brothers and some of my favorite movies. Kung Fu theater was a staple in my household and there are some specific characters/movies/themes that would be cool to see:

The 36th Chamber of Shaolin
Shaolin vs Wutang
Clan of the White Lotus
A Gordon Liu Pop aka Master Killer with variants
Jackie Chan...his older movies like Snake and Crane were some of my favorites. So different than his later work.
Jet Li...Fist of Legend and the Once Upon A Time in China Trilogy are great
Michelle Yeoh is amazing and I want a Pop of her holding the Green Sword of Destiny
Donnie Yen because have you even seen IP Man lol
Tony Jaa (couldn't leave him off lest I be tarred and feathered)

There are several more of course and this list is by no means exhaustive but I'm thinking of crossover appeal especially since this is such a niche market. Bruce Lee was a great start.

Yes!! Would love to get Jackie Chan, Donny Yen (Chirrut doesn't count!), and Jet Li Pops!!!
These could make great movie moments as they face their adversaries in final battle.

Not really a martial arts master (stretching a bit for crouching tiger), but I would love a Chow Yun Fat Pop as well.

Jackie Chan and Jet Li would be a great addition to the martial arts line. We have Bruce Lee, so these would be great.

You already Listed a couple of my faves (Shaolin vs Wutang and Fist of Legend), here are a just a few more that would be great!

5 Deadly Venoms
Shogun Assassin
Drunken Master
Iron Monkey

Would it be like a martial arts line where we would have pops of the actual actors or specific characters?

Actors- I would add Wu Jing and Zhao Wen Zhao to the list

Characters- Wong Fei Hung, Fong Sai Yuk, all the old legends.
"You're overwhelmed. Freeze was underwhelmed. Why isn't anyone ever just whelmed?"- Dick Grayson, Young Justice 1x01

Collection: Ask, and I'll send a link ;)
