It depends on if you want to stay in the city or closer to the airport(which is about 25 min from the stadium. the farther out of the city you sstay the cheaper its going to be. Daly city is a close city outside SF, san bruno is about 30 min out. If you looking inside the city, Union square is a really nice area. near Pier 39 is a touristy area. Oracle Park is 24 Willie Mays plaza and theres a brand new hotel (its been open less than a year) about a block away.

Don't forget. If you know anyone that works near a dugout store, they sell tix without service fees. (From what I've heard).

Haven't tried it, myself. There's one in Walnut Creek.

That could very well be the case. Or it could be that if the VIP tickets don’t sell out they open the add on option. I know they have the add on option for other VIP events too.

Actually update...I tried to go to the one in WC and they still had fees -_-. They said if you buy from the box office at the park, they don’t charge fees
