Pop town!

Oooh man. These NYTF pop towns I just seen are actually pretty awesome, scooby and sponge bob! What other buildings do you want to see?

Lots and lots of potential on these, but I definitely have a potential space issue if the boxes and buildings are pretty big.

Haha that was exactly my first thought as well. I'm curious to see the sizing of the buildings.

My LEGO sets on display are looking at these POP Town announcements like a deer in headlights. Their current space is only room for something like this.

Haha I hope they atleast do somewhat of a scale for the building sizes... I mean the haunted mansion needs to be so much bigger than sponge Bob's pineapple... like a 10" vs regular pop. I'm going to be so annoyed if all the buildings are the same size haha

I just hope they just do it with the animation license because, if they did theme parks or Sesame Street I would die.

I am very, VERY excited for this new endeavor. I really enjoy decorating a new Christmas village every year which is kind of what these are. A little village, or town you could say composed of iconic buildings/landmarks from pop culture.

Could you imagine Spongebob in his pineapple living next door to the Ghostbusters firehouse? And across the street is the Simpson's and Scooby Doo.

Pop! Town is something I never knew I wanted, but now I need!

No one knows yet. But, based on the size I'd say these are just display pieces. You never know though with Funko. They could open up and have some cool easter eggs to them.

Hogwarts! Please, actually, don't. That would be massive and no one has the space for it unless they gave up like a TV or a small child's bed.

But I think it's an interesting concept. I'd really like the Hall of Justice or something.

I love the idea of playsets / display cases. Space will be a huge issue - and shipping as I'm not in the US. Thankfully I doubt my retro Pops would have much demand for a playset, but if they did...

I like the way you think! I might need to dedicate a whole room in the house for this town. These will take up so much space. I'll make space for it. I always do lol

I'm also thinking this will probably be about 6" scale in size - I love the idea!
