2019 Film & TV Anniversary Pops

An anniversary is the perfect opportunity for Funko to release Pops for older Films & TV Series.

5/10 year benchmarks are normally the way these things work, 10th, 20th, 25th anniversaries etc. So I've created a list below of well known iconic/popular films & TV series that celebrate a benchmark anniversary in 2019 (Some films & shows may be absent but have tried to include the most popular ones).

Many of the listed films have already had the Pop! treatment while others have recently been announced e.g. Ghostbusters, The Simpsons, Lion King, Alien, Forrest Gump etc.

So... What Films/TV shows would you like to see get the Pop treatment (or remolded) as part of their anniversary or original film release this year?

Great List!! I'm not a Game of Thrones fan but I wish they would make the rest of the dire wolves! I only have Ghost. I missed out on Grey Wind cause I didn't know about Funko POPs yet when he was released. I also would luv to see more Secret Life of Pets characters be made. I would luv it if they would make POps of Buddy the Dachshund,Mel the pug,Sweetpea the bird and the Guinea Pig. I am also dying and hoping they make POps from the Mask!

I would really like new Incredibles Pops! But this time from the first movie. So I’d defiantly like to see a different mold of the

I’d really like to see pops of the first movie wether it’s be an anniversary or not. I think this can happen, considering how many toy story pops Disney made. It started out with the rare commons, to the 20th anniversary pops, to a release of pops from the 1st movie and now we’re getting toy story 4 pops. So incredibles 1 should definitely happen.

With Star Wars Episode 1 celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, I hope it gets some love at Star Wars Celebration in April.

I would love to see a 'duel of the fates' movie moment with Maul Vs Qui Gon & Obi Wan. That way, I'd finally be able to get a Qui Gon Pop .

What Pops would you guys like to see as part of the celebration?

They need to make as many Jar Jar pops as they possibly can. And some battle droids would be nice to finally have as well.

Glee's 10th anniversary is this year. would love to see Funko make Glee pop!s, i love to own Quinn Fabray. Another anniversary i can think of. The Transformers 35th anniversary. Definitely would like to see g1 version of Optimus, Bumblebee, And Megatron.

Someone did their research - amazing list! I personally love any anniversaries ending in tens because I feel like that would make the most sense for celebrating.

With that said, I think the Sleeping Beauty and Wizard of Oz ones would be cool. Toy Story just released a new line so I doubt they would be creating an anniversary line for that one. I will never say no to Harry Potter pops, but don't think they would do anniversary releases since they have so many characters they'll be releasing already. I do love the idea of an Up release though especially with all of the talks of an Ellie pop that people want.

That would be an awesome movie moment. Maybe they'll release a Qui Gon pop for that anniversary! It can be limited too if they're afraid it won't be popular, but I can't imagine that would be the case.

Sesame Street would be obvious because of the 50th anniversary. Also, I would like to see more Scooby villains release for its 50 anniversary

Gone With the Wind is celebrating its 80th. It's been one of my top wants. I also want My Fair Lady which is celebrating its 55th.
When Harry Met Sally is celebrating its 30th.

Impressive list. IF you're already working on one for 2020, I'd like to suggest Xena: Warrior Princess which will be celebrating its 25 anniversary.

That's IF we don't get a full line of Funko Pops for Xena in 2019 of course.
