Agreed. Definitely doesn’t have to be the musical version. The musical opened him up to the mainstream and it spurred my interest in learning more about him.

I kind of feel the same way. I love history but didn’t really want to see history pops, largely because a lot of our most iconic historical figures were a part of very serious events that makes it kind of awkward to have cute vinyl versions of them made, or met really tragic and violent ends. With that said I don’t have any problems with the first history pops they chose and they seem to be well done.

I agree, American history has definitely NOT been pretty most of the time. It is pretty awkward to think of owning a pop when that person was involved in some serious or controversial events. I just feel like they're too serious and real to be made Pops.

However, Rosie the Riveter looks awesome, and I have a much more positive association with her than other historial figures. I would also buy a JFK pop, but I think that might be it.

Yeah I know what you mean, part of me is like i kind of don't want to see certain historical figures made because I fear some insensitive person might customize a "bloody" version which would be just horrendous. I agree, Rosie the Riveter turned out awesome. I would even like a Bert the Turtle from the government duck and cover videos. Stuff like that would be cool.

But really, Edgar Allan Poe would be cool.

Edgar Allan Poe would cool especially if he had a Raven.
Just your average Muppet fan who loves Pops.

I would say a great start would be people that made some massive breakthrough when it came to innovation. I would say people like Thomas Edison, Henry Ford, Albert Einstein, Galileo, Socrates, and Newton just to name a few.

I think it would be cool to have a Neil Armstrong pop.

Agree - this line can be never ending. Would love an Albert Einstein - his hair standing up all crazy lol ohh i wood Love Beethoven and Mozart ... maybe Amelia Earheart.

Amelia Earheart as a pop ride in her airplane would be awesome.

Great idea! :freddy3:

I'm only slightly embarrassed to admit that that's also where my mind went when I first saw this wave lol

Now that I'm really thinking about it, though, I'm baffled that Funko hasn't dipped their toe into musicals. As a former theater kid, I can attest to the fact that musical fans are downright rabid when it comes to decent merch haha.

Back on topic though, I'd love a glow-in-the-dark Nikola Tesla. And a three pack with Meriwether Lewis, William Clark, and Sacagawea would be dope!
