Yeah I saw this and find it interesting. I think Funko is now just part of pop culture, and not just a collectible company. I am happy though they still put these events on at cons to keep their foundation in place in terms of the collectible aspect.
I've said for years that Funko needs to figure out what they want to be when they grow up. I think they are evolving what this is as we speak. I'm not sure I'm completely on board with their direction, but as long as they continue to make great collectibles, they will continue to get some of my disposable income.
I agree. I am interested to see how Funko continues to evolve. As long as they stick with their start and foundation as a collectible company that makes awesome bobbleheads, I will continue to be a funatic.
