This one is Sooo cool! I wasn't even planning on getting the throne pops, but this one is too cool.

Any input on how purchasing from HBO is? (Metallic is the HBO exclusive right? I saw the Amazon RSVP, but it doesn't specify)

Yup metallic Night King on throne is an HBO exclusive. Purchasing from HBO is pretty much the same as other online shops but they kinda drop randomly.

Metallic has a sleeker look to it, I think. Especially since you can still see the characters original colors. Because chrome makes it so vibrant, the pop looks less appealing.

I agree, the chrome covers details, especially because it's a single color. The metallic seems to enhance the detail, plus you still get multiple colors (good for eyes, etc.).

I'm with you on this one. Not worth the fight or agravation dealing with this mess coming. Now just need to find a good place to preorder it.

Yes. I just unboxed mine and the pops are all loose from the throne. They sit fine, but they are also removable. They wouldnt stand on their own without the throne though.

So I got an email from HBO today telling me this would go on sale Thursday 4/4 at 12:00 PM EST. I want this badly enough that I am now getting paranoid about what that time means. Does it mean midnight tonight? Does it mean noon tomorrow? Does it mean midnight tomorrow? I would have appreciated something less ambiguous. Even Googling "does 12 PM mean noon or midnight" gives no standard answer. I wasn't collecting when the metallic Children of the Forest Pop dropped, but would appreciate any insight into HBO's practices. In the end, I guess I will stay up tonight, possibly blow off a meeting tomorrow morning, and/or stay up tomorrow.

12pm means noon haha. For me it is 9am pst. I will say if you want the best chance, you’ll have to get the bundle. Because I know for a fact the pop alone will fly because of bots and traffic. That’s my game plan anyway, good luck everyone.

Metallic pops are still the best and has a little more "weight" to it than the light chrome pops.
