Safe to buy goose flerken on eBay?

Can't seem to find regular goose flerken or the chase in stores but somehow some ebayers have a bunch of them and are selling... Is it safe to buy from them? How can you tell they're selling a legitimate pop?

I was able to get both about a week ago. So they are out just you have not seen them. You will get used to them being sold on Ebay. Alot of times a high demand pop will even be presale from flippers. Look at the persons feedback and sale numbers. If in doubt ask or walk away. I also see no reason why this would be a fake. Also remember you as a buyer are also protected from scams within reason from ebay/PayPal.

I was out chasing today and saw a lot of these. Several Gamestops had 1 and I saw at least 8 at a BoxLunch or Hot Topic. I don't think there is any reason to think they are so rare that the ones on Ebay are fake, but I also would not blow much more than $20 on one. I think this is one a lot of people will want, but I also think there will be plenty of supply.

Fakes are pretty rare in general. At least, not common enough to worry about too much.

If the Ebay sellers have a high perscentage rating ( 99% or 100%) I usually feel comfortable buying from them. And if you use PayPal you’re protected also. Good luck.

Don't see any reason why the current Ebay varieties would be fakes. Personally, I'm going to wait a bit before going after these.

Which would be a pretty reasonable question, especially if an in-person meetup was in the cards. Seems a little redundant for the Goose chase

maybe OP meant "safe" as in eBay being the safest place to buy them since they can't find them in store? (maybe I'm reaching ) but I head to eBay once I know it's been sold out. the gamestops in my area only received one per store which was strange, but when I talked to one of the managers, they let me know if they weren't pre-ordered, sometimes entire stores don't receive any. I did see these pop up at Hot topic but sold out the same day (probably because of the hype of the movie). that being said, I'm not sure what other retailers would get them, if they are going to get them.

Its pretty safe considering its a new pop. It takes time for China to generate new fakes. The bigger question is how much are you willing to spend on resale prices on eBay?

I personally prefer the common rather than the chase. The common glows in the dark. It seems like when a Pop! comes out and the demand is high, the price goes up...but as more stores restock the price comes back down. I have been impatient and bought something and later seen the same Pop at multiple stores or on sale..lesson learned.

Lol I just recently started buying pops and I'm not sure if one I bought on eBay is fake, and wasn't sure if eBay sellers would scam people on a high demand product is all. Thanks

as long as the seller isn't from China, you should be good. or if the price is too good to be true. check feedback history

These are just hitting stores which is why you probably haven’t seen it out yet. If you are patient you can wait for an online restock and order from somewhere like Hot Topic where you have a chance at a chase from an online order.

Iv'e seen plenty in stores. I don't think the Ebay ones are fake if it's not one that is worth much or old

If the seller looks legit (has a good rating), has photos, and there’s a return policy too, you are good to go. Plus, you are protected with eBay’s buyer policy. And I doubt there’s many fakes of this Pop. I,too, am finding these in the wild without any issues.

This is great advice! Always read feedback and all details on item description. If it feels "fishy", don't do it.

i agree with the others, don't give up on the stores yet. But probably safe from ebay if the seller is reputable. you can always ask for more pics of the product if you are unsure

I don't think this is a pop that would be readily faked right now so you're safe to buy it.

People generally fake pops that are worth a lot of money, the ROI for faking this pop isn't high enough yet.

I have not seen them in stores yet but I's sure they will be available soon. Ebay pops are probably legit unless they ship from China.

If you're really unsure, I would just wait until they pop up in stores. I'm going to say Goose probably won't be super popular so if you don't mind waiting, you'd get him eventually.
