I've tried to spend all day at the Harry Potter area my first trip there. My sister literally had to drag me and my brother away so we could actually see the rest of the park + the other parks.

Diagon alley is just such an amazing place, I really could spend all day there. They knocked it out of the park for sure

I haven't even been to Diagon alley yet since it opened so I only got to see Hogsmeade. Definitely going to go back to spend an entire day there (or 2 again). I love how the experience also feels different at night too. So it's like two parks during the day and night.

Hogsmeade is great but Diagon alley just pulls out all the stops. Definitely worth going back

Since they’re doing light up pops now, a light up tower of terror when the camera flashed would be pretty awesome.

That would be awesome! Even just to have that lightning effect would be awesome.

I honestly just miss the ride so much. I know people love the new Guardians of the galaxy ride but I just cant do it. Its not for me.

I totally get it...some things just resonate differently with people. I didn’t have high hopes for the GOTG reimagineering, but I actually love it.

Weird side note. The bathrooms at Diagon Alley have the greatest air fresheners ever...it’s the only theme park bathroom in history that you actually look forward to using. lol

That makes a lot of sense with the Marvel/ Universal licensing. It also would be redundant to have more Marvel within the Disney parks though with Universal right there. But hopefully they keep the ToT because I'm not ready to give it up completely yet hahah.

I’m hoping that now that Disney owns Fox, they can maybe negotiate with the theme park division and try to gain the ability to do themed Marvel lands at WDW. Islands of Adventure was incredible when it opened, but it just hasn’t grown or been upgraded or even well maintained for years and Disney would likely honor the material quite a bit better.

Yeah I can definitely see Disney doing something like that eventually. But I do still find Islands of Adventure fun and there are definitely gem rides there still! Maybe they will do an upgrade at Universal at some point.

I have gotten a little queasy on the Hulk coaster at IOA, but I think Spider-Man is still pretty great.

Well the bathrooms in hogsmeade having moshing myrtle talking to you so that one is pretty cool as well. Just like that we’ve turned it into a Harry Potter thread. Sorry

I went to Disneyland/ CA adventure for the first time when I was 17. So I was REALLY able to let it all in and that ride was the ride that made the trip. So I’ll always be pretty salty that it’s gone haha

As much as I would love to have a tower of terror pop, since it's now GOTG. I would absolutely pick this pop up if they made it.

A great way to execute this would have the doomed guests in Black and white, and then have them in GLOW IN THE DARK VARIANTS. As well as the Bellhop.

Gotta admit that the GoTG ride is soooo much better (i.e. less scary). But ToT is a classic and I’d love a bellhop

There's always going to be angry people and they always come back. I've just learned to live with the changes. Although the Mr. Toad ride in Disneyland still doesn't make a whole ton of sense to me, but I do still love it. I feel like with most of the rides, I get sad when they go away because of the memories that go along with them.

I just wish the more angry vocal people could be willing to see both sides of a scenario like this. If you were to ask any person under the age of 40 who they know more about: Winnie the Pooh or Mr Toad...it wouldn’t even be a contest.

I would love a bellhop pop. The bellhop is one of my favorite Disney vinylmation.

Fun story, I traded a GITD Holo Darth Maul pop for a Bellhop chaser vinylmation back in the day haha

That's very true. Can't do anything about that though, unfortunately. I feel like even with ToT vs GotG, it's the same concept. It's a classic for a lot of people but they need to adjust to their fan base too.

And it’s just a feel good and exciting ride.

I’m not overly sentimental about things like that...I love the way the parks evolve. Obviously they aren’t always good decisions, but I like seeing the updates.

That’s understandable. I think if it hadn’t been my FIRST and only trip to Disney it wouldn’t be as sentimental you know?

For sure. I know that if they ever remove the TTA, I will get REAL salty. lol

If they consider it ill be there to protest with you!!

A great way to commemorate and celebrate the anniversary would be to release pops of the family thats seen on the ride right before the drop. The obvious choice would be going with the doomed guests from the hotel.
A great way to execute this would have the doomed guests in Black and white, and then have them in GLOW IN THE DARK VARIANTS. As well as the Bellhop.

P.S. Seeing Mickey, Donald, and Goofy as Bellhoppers would be great additions also

That's a great idea. I hope it's something in the works.

And let’s not forget that the GOTH Mission Breakout attraction got us a very fun Pop of Jeff Goldblum In statue form. Well worth it.

very true haha

And let’s make sure we are all on the same page that Jeff Goldblum should have more pop variants than Batman and Iron Man combined. lol

Err... the Collector from GotG was played by Benicio del Toro.
