yeah, no clue why that happened last year? I have gone to SDCC the last three years and the last one was insane, lucky me I got in thursday before they closed, but the rest of weekend was hell from what I saw

Thats true. I heard people talking about a weighted lottery system and i actually felt as if that was a good idea. You know where you have points and you can allocate them on the booths you want to go to the most. I think that would make it the most fair.

I collect MHA so Hopefully they have some type of system so it’s not crazy like last year.

I'm sure with them shutting the booth down they'll move to a lottery like everything else.

They better my brother got tickets to sdcc this year and we're hoping he doesn't have to relive last year's nightmare lol

The rest of the Kool-Aid colors! The wobblers were con sclusie too. So maybe they’ll do the same with Kool-Aid.

Kinda like the sour patch kids when the green one was an ECCC sclusie shortly after the commons dropped.

Wasn't thinking about the red eyes but that would be nice. Funimation set to have 4-5 more chrome exclusives coming out, just thinking of popular animes...MHA too.

Good possibility of that happening, but it would be at the Funko booth. This thread is about what exclusive pop with be at the Funimation booth, very likely to be silver chrome All Might and cause a nightmare unless they use a lottery this year.

I have to agree, at least in that scenario the most dedicated people were normally able to at least enter a booth. Lotteries are horrible things if you aren't a lucky person.

I feel bad for people that camp out for a lottery...that to me is the pinnacle of crazy...one example is LEGO had people camping out for a chance at the ipad...people waited overnight to get to Sails and then up the staircases to the top...you hit the ipad and had a CHANCE to get the exclusive...insane to me. I am willing to camp out and I've done 12 to 14 hours no problem, but the lottery thing upsets me because I know tons of people who sign up for stuff they don't want, people who use tons of different emails etc and some who win and don't go...

That really was the problem with the SDCC lottery last year, people would sign up for everything even if they had no interest in it. If they use the system they had at Wondercon this year it will be a bit better. Having a point allotment per day that you could put into any of the lotteries at least makes people make decisions and not just spam everything.

I think its pretty clear what Funimation pop will be since they've posted about having several chrome pops to celebrate their 25th anniversary...so safe to say its the chrome/silver All Might. It seems like they only introduce just one exclusive pop at SDCC so hopefully I can grab one on Preview Night like I did with their Metallic Whis last year.

I just hope they get their act together and not have a computer glitch that caused mayhem getting their Funimation exclusive Whis.

Haha yeah i think a weighted system would allow people to be divied out more fairly and those who shoot for everything just to shoot for everything wouldnt effect those who have specific booths that they would like to visit.

My guess, and I’m no expert, is that they will have one and the line will be stupid and fights may break out. They may close the line at times and then you can see the same people walking around and around in circles hoping to get pulled in.

Or not, it’s a crazy premise.
