New molds for Universal Studios: Monsters
Hey all, since the recent announcement of the mystery Universal monster figures came about, I’d like to know when or if we can get new monster pop molds for Universals various monsters. We’ve gotten Invisible Man last year, but I’d love a new Werewolf man ,a new Frankenstein and Dracula pop as well as others. What are your thoughts and ideas of how to expand the line? Hopefully funko does this!

I think that something so iconic can be presented in a few different ways. I’d be willing to add a few to my collection for sure, unfortunately I don’t have many of them right now

Id like more GITDs of them. We got Wolf Man and Creature already. Im talking the translucent glow plastic not the underwhelming ones like Frank and Bride of Frank HT exclusives

I would love to see a new variant for the Creature from the Black Lagoon. Not the best movie.....but he is the coolest monster

The Universal Monsters are one of my favorite set of characters and favorite parts of my collection. Always happy to see them intro more. Man that Walgreens exclusive MM set is going to be painful. :/

Would LOVE to see some new universal monsters funko goodies at SDCC.. off topic, but did you see the universal monsters stuff Super7 had available last year? I bit the bullet and bought a set of the limited print portraits, so awesome

I love the remolds. I am glad that the door on these little monsters isn't closed. Keep pumping them out even if it's for a short time.

I’d love a Flocked Werewolf. And a scratch and sniff Creature similar to the scratch and sniff Swamp Thing.
Give me all the Groots, Flocked Pops/Dorbz and Pint Sized Heroes.

Re: New molds for Universal Studios: Monsters
No most of the time I’m against new molds. The prices on these guys are astronomical so I don’t think new molds are necessary. I like the pops we have already.

The mini's are going to be awesome. Universal is one of my oob displays. Seems like the younger collectors have little clue about these guys. Oh well, easier for me to get them

I have been wanting to see a remold of Dracula for a while, maybe the new one could be bloody and holding the candlestick. I mean, we did get a remold of Frankenstein holding a flower as an Walgreens exclusive last year

I also am happy to see some love for Universal Monsters. The mystery minis look great (despite knowing already that Walgreens is gonna be a pain in the butt), so with that being said maybe we could see some new pops released soon. I would love a new Dracula of some sort.

And Creature was my first Pop - it would be cool to have a new/updated version in the collection!

I don't know really know what Monster you want as a scratch and sniff. I'm sure Werewolf would smell like a dog. Frankenstein like burnt/rotting flesh (like this idea), Mummy would smell like a dirty sock and Dracula, maybe he would have an aftershave smell on or something.

It took me about a minute to read your post. That banner was so distracting (in a good way). I just kept looking at it. So much to see.

Still hoping for a Phantom of the Opera Pop with his mask. Perhaps even GitD?

Not sure if it's popular enoygh, but it would seriously make my day. It'd look so goofy . Maybe as a con exclusive?
