Not a cartoon per se but an 80s animated movie. The princess and the Goblin..... so underrated and one of my faves as a kid!

technically not before, while the original movies are super old Filmation rushed the series out because of the popularity of the movies in order to cash in on the name since they owned it.

hey who doesn't love learning useless facts on the internet lol it's pretty interesting, there was a random live action show from the 70's called Ghost Busters, the name was bought when the movie we all know and love was being released, the movie was such a hit that Filmation who was the rights holder rushed the cartoon we're talking about now to production so they could get some of that sweet sweet money without doing much of the legwork before DIC could get their own Ghostbusters cartoon out, which is of course why the cartoon based on the movie is "The Real Ghostbusters" as opposed to just Ghostbusters.

and yeah, Toy Galaxy is great. Dan is a funny guy and you can tell they do a lot of research for each episode.

First to come to mind was The Brave Little Toaster because who doesn't like anthropomorphized appliances.
But would also love some Canadian exclusives for classics like The Raccoons and The Smoggies
