Smokey Bear 75th Anniversary with Donation
Hey all, it would be great if we were to get Smokey Bear icon as a Pop! It would be a great time especially around now since its his 75th anniversary of being a sign of awareness for wildfires. It would be a also great idea if part of the Pops purchase can go to wildfire preventions to help out as well. A good way to show this would be to have a sticker on the Pop noting that part of the purchase is a small donation to help out.
And a flocked variant too! Would be cute to have him fuzzy!

That is a good idea! Funko has done a few pops like that already. Make A Wish was one. They did one with a purchase of Louise from Bob's Burgers I think.
I'm sure they'd enjoy doing more.

This is a great idea and would be a good complement if done like the Wall-E and Eve Earth Day Box Lunch exclusives. Maybe have a donations go to the National Parks or something like that. Would like to see more POPs made from recycled material.

Great idea! Like said above if a portion of sales goes to national parks that would be amazing. I’d buy that pop in a heart beat

I don’t think alot do. I asked my older 2 boys and 1 did not know and the other kinda knew. I couldn't even remember the last time I saw an advertisement for smokey the bear. Maybe this is a way to make the little ones aware of who he is and at the same time possibly bringing in some money for wildfire prevention, firefighter assistance.

I'll see your Smokey the Bear and raise you a McGruff the Crime Dog and a McGruff 2-pack that comes with the much-hated Scruff.
Be EXCELLENT to each other.

I think this is a great idea! I think even if the younger folks are not as familiar with Smokey Bear as say my generation, having a pop will bring awareness so imo it's a win-win.

yeah, i'm curious too. I remember as a kid I would see the commercials all the time. Now I don't see it at all. Heck cut cable a year ago so that has a little to do with not seeing it.

Smokey the Bear and McGruff the Crime Dog... those commercials used to be on all the time. I doubt many kids know who they are now.

oh man bringing back memories. I'm curious if they still have D.A.R.E program in elementary schools. I remember wearing the t-shirts every time we had that program.

I was just thinking this should be pine scented. Or since we're talking about forest fires, smoke scented???
