AEW (All Elite Wrestling) pops?!

After last night's ppv it's time for Funko and All Elite Wrestling to start pumping out pops. They can prove they can sell mass quantities of t-shirts, and pops would be no different.

It's definitely a possibility. I'd assume both sides would talk at some point if AEW continues to show it's appeal to the masses. It's a win win for both parties if it works for both.

Their key stars already have pops just in new Japan packaging. I'd say at least a year away if not more only because they'd be releasing the same figures in new packaging. Only jericho and moxley would really have new figs. Once they get a few dudes to be more over than just the one show I think we definitely see them. Moxley, jericho, hangman, cody, Kenny, young bucks first series. Darby allin and Jimmy havoc could work in too

The show was great last night and I think down the road AEW Pops could definitely be a thing. Would love to see more in the NJPW line and an ROH line of Pops too. It's a good time to be a wrestling fan.

Yeah, I have all the NJPW pops (and all signed as of yesterday #Starrcast), but yeah.. Totally need hangman, havoc, etc..

I think Funko would probably wait for its popularity to really take off before going for and paying for the license so that there is a chance for the line to sell well. It would be nice to see them threaten WWE and make WWE actually compete for business on a bigger scale.

I can see them doing it in a few years or so.

Gotta see if TNA...er, I mean ECW....er, I mean WCW...er, I mean AEW has any lasting potential. ;-)

I'd say yes, since they are going to be on the nation's biggest sports channel TNT along with the fact the owner is the son of a man worth about 2-3x what the WWE is worth as a whole.

Easy there, buddy. It was just a joke. I haven't watched WWE since it was called WWF. AEW actually looks legit fun and worth my time. I enjoyed the first show a lot (and I also loved WCW, TNA, and ECW much more than I ever loved WWF/WWE).

and of course Jon Moxley

No Omega or Young Bucks since there are already two Young Bucks 2-packs and Omega has a NJPW one as well. Yeah I know Cody does too but not with blond hair and we need Pharaoh.

What is the line that the Omega, Cody, and Young Bucks Pops were released under? Is it "Pop! Wrestling"? If so, I'd like to see them expand that line and just do various wrestlers from different promotions. Maybe Jay Lethal, Marty Scurll, Johnny Impact/Mundo/Morrison/Whatever his name is right now, Okada, Naito. The AEW roster could be included in that line is what I'm getting at, I suppose.

As for the original question, it'd be great to get a Jon Moxley since there was never a Dean Ambrose made while he was in WWE. (I'll always assume he was supposed to be the missing #22 as that would've put The Shield Pops one after the other.) A new Jericho is needed since he has changed his look so much since his WWE Pop was produced. A blonde Cody is an obvious one. I'd like to see a tag team pack of Pentagon and Fenix, along with different single Pops of each. (As good as they are as a team, I'd really like to see them both as singles wrestlers in AEW.) I really like MJF, so I'd buy his Pop for sure. I'm surprised there wasn't a Hangman Page released with the initial Elite Pops, so I'd like to see one of him now. Luchasaurus would translate well to Pop form. All of So Cal Uncensored need to be in a 3-pack. Darby Allin would be a good one too. I'm sure I could name a few more, but this list has ended up being way more than I anticipated. lol

Side note: Glad to see a new promotion come along that has a legit shot at challenging WWE for supremacy sometime down the line. What I saw of the PPV was awesome.

doesn't seem like at all----i could ABSOLUTELY see them doing this. i'm not even sure how funko got the NJPW pops of cody, omega and the bucks made without WWE getting all p*** about it.

Reading this thread today and read the first post.. thought it was referencing the incredible wrestlemania weekend we just had.. then I read posts about Jimmy Havoc.. (where’d he go?!). Finally realized it was an old post brought back to life and I’m glad it did! We DO need AEW pops! Love the content AEW is bringing out! My top 6 pop request if I could have them would be Britt Baker, Darby Allin, MJF w Chase, Orange Cassidy and The Acclaimed holding a mic and a boombox. Jericho, Sting, CM Punk and Bryan Danielson in the next round
