It's unfortunate... I thought these looked better than the *NSYNC ones in my objective opinion, although I was Team *NSYNC back in the day.

I totally agree. There is something to the late 90's/early 00's charm of the N'SYNC Pops' outfits, but the Backstreet ones were clean and timeless. I have passed on Mr. Timberlake multiple times while shopping online and in-store, despite being a big fan.

I think it's because the BSB ones not only looked clean but that was their iconic look (similar to the I Want It That Way music video). In my head when I thought of the *NSYNC pops being made, I thought of them as dolls and in their boxes from the It's Gonna Be Me music video.

Someone reported in a Facebook group that they're on hold due to licensing. I don't wanna get my hopes (or anyone else's) up though.

I'm sure they'll come out eventually. I couldn't imagine them turning down the opportunity to have pops made of them from the marketing/money stand point. Maybe a few more rounds of art concepts or something is all that's needed to get them just right.

that is the general feeling. it could be a money thing just as much as a design thing. not sure if each singer would have to sign off on their respective pop. you could have a situation where 1 of them holds out...and i would think funko would want to roll these out as a whole group vs 4/5 of them etc lol

I had preordered these from Poppin Off Toys back when they were announced. I talked to someone there about it and they confirmed that they spoke to their Funko rep and that these are not cancelled, they are currently delayed.

I' hope after seeing his very own Funko Pop, AJ went back to his people and convinced them that the Pops need to be made. For all I know, maybe AJ and his people were at Funko HQ for that very reason. to ink a deal to get it done. Yup, that's what I'm making myself believe.

Yeah I saw that as well. I hope they are not making it ultra hard to obtain them. I was thinking maybe it was already produced but since there was licensing issues they ended up cancelling them.
