Yeah, investing in upgraded servers to handle the load for a 5 minute swarm of orders and nothing else seems like it might not be worth it. Just let funko handle it!

I give them credit for delaying the release when the site went down. Normally companies just let people try and suffer through it (Foot Locker, Over9000, Funimation, etc).

it may be smoother, but it would definitely get eaten by bots...

Bots didn't killed Fluffy's website... just an FYI. It's not supported by Shopify like Funko...

The midnight drop was such a bad time for both east and west coast peeps. Some people stayed up thinking the server issue would be cleared that night

Sucks the site crashed and burned and we gotta wait for another day. I seen it coming though as these smaller sites can't handle a hyped funko drop. Hopefully the site is upgraded and can handle the hit for next time.

I finally got through and placed an order, but the site apparently combined my orders across the two different browser windows I was using and I got two #-o

Edit: nope, I just got my order confirm. I didn't get two, it just reverted me back to express shipping. Hopefully they can fix that. I just saw the larger charge on my bank site and assumed it was for two. What a complete mess this was.

Whoa, it's insane how much shipping is from certain sites/retailers...for that price, it better be triple wrapped/protected.

Could you imagine the outrage if you paid that much for shipping and they packaged it like Walmart or Amazon and some of the other retailers that give the impresison that they don't care about spendng a few pennies on bubble wrap?!
