What’s cool is Netflix are using all the old puppetry like they did with the original movie, his daughter is behind this one apparently but they are chucking in cgi with action bits and stuff. Sorry I am a geek and love this kind of stuff when they go into full detail. Just managed to get this on double boxed toys so I’m so pleased and Mira has just come through too .

I personally think the mold looks amazing and super detailed. Unfortunately I haven't seen the original movie, as I should catch up and understand the Dark Crystal world if I wanna see the the prequel mini series on Netflix. Watched the trailer for it, and loved how they kept the same style from the original. I mean, it looks that way anyways. Comes out the end of this month, so it's something to look forward to.

I agree...the puppets keep the integrity of the original movie. We need that sense of being in the past.

Ordered the normal release of the Hunter, I prefer the skull to be painted to look like bone - I do like the silver detail of the exclusive versions costume though. I bought the entire run for the DC movie, but I'm not sure I'll be doing that for the series. The Hunter and Aughra are both must haves for me, not sure about the others just yet.
