Has anybody noticed that Funko is capitalizing on DBZ nowadays?

I love it, but they are really pouring out.

Yea, they once we're coming out only a few at a time but now seems like it's coming every single week.

Happens a lot when they either get more licensing privileges or they've proven concept and are running with the hype (even though DBZ has been around awhile).

MHA just had a huge release too. I can only imagine what's going to happen once the new season starts.

I've noticed that for awhile now and honestly I love it as a DBZ fan. I have nowhere near all of them and I can't keep up at all but I just like seeing them I guess.

I am complete on a couple lines, but over the years I've realized I don't "need" to own every single variant. Funko knows people will keep on buying them so they'll keep on spitting them out.

I am one of those DBZ collectors, and they sure are. But sadly I will still be buying them when I can. Just love the molds, If they end up using the same molds and rereleasing them then I probably will stop.

I don't watch the anime but I also feel bad/happy for DBZ collectors. On one hand you get new Pop!s but on the other they can be expensive/hard to get!

I pretty much will buy any exclusive, and any “colored hair” version. I just refuse to buy some of the older villains such as Nappa and possibly even the Ginyu Force. Idk, I just never really liked them in the show, so why would I buy the pop version.

They made my year last and this year with the following:
Gotenks, Gotenks SS3, Goku SS3, and Gohan SS2 with the lightning.

To me, those pieces made my grail collection for DBZ complete.

I’m enjoying the overflow of releases. Not to say that I’m buying them all, I just get the DBZ that I like, it’s just too many to keep up with. lol

Like everyone, I would love new molds, but the constant variations with chrome and making an old mold metallic seems like a cheep way to get fans to keep buying the same product.

I love it! However, due to space restrictions, I have limited myself to 1-2 variants of each character... Too many Gokus & Vegetas ><

Every line is becoming harder and harder to keep complete. The time will come soon where you can't be 100% due to sheer space issues.

Yes they do use different molds for that line. As long as they don't come up with different variants you'll be good.

Not sure if it is good for DBZ fans or not. but the newer variants are really nice, so kudos to Funko to upping their game too. Especially the broly power ups. :freddy2:

love some of the new moulds... like Broly.

but there are really alot of lazy variants like chroming different collours of vegeta.

yea man. do agree with that. i like it when the chrome colour makes sense with the character. like when batman blue chrome first came out i was in love with the chrome.

when the australian exclusives of spider (Red), iron man (Gold) and Thanos (Purple) it made sense and was so cool. unfortunately the chromes that comes out now a days arent a big draw to me. (Maybe i got desensitised)

Like how when I walk to my local store there's an entire section full of different DBZ pops. Personally don't collect em all and focus mainly on Vegeta but still it's a nice sight to see the variations
