I heard they were re organizing and coming out with little sections of most popular toys in some larger stores and calling it “Geoffreys toy box” or something like that. I don’t think we will ever see a full brick and mortar store again unfortunately but atleast it’s something. I’m just glad my kids though still young, got to experience toys t us. They loved that store

i remember seeing on Nickelodeon when the kids did the shop till you drop or whatever in toys r us and I always wished I could have been one of those kids. I used to drive by on my way home from work about once a week and would walk around like I do at target. Not always buying anything but always looking for an excuse to buy something. Kids today won’t know what that felt like as a kid. It was such as great felling.

Does this make you wonder who got the intellectual property/image rights of Geoffrey? Either it was straight up Target or a really good licensor that was able to cross some pretty interesting license boundaries.
