I would prefer metallic as well, but like what most mentioned, the colour tends to fade.

maybe we can prolong the metallic colour by not putting it under direct sunlight or bright light.

do have some old metallics and i still love them (Not too faded yet)

I personally like metallic over chrome

Firstly, metallic actually accentuates the pop (the character). it enhances with brighter and clearer color. Although down side is that it fades with time especially under bright light or direct sunlight.

2nd, there just too many chrome pops. its like every character variant is just a lazy chrome repaint. its cool to look at for sure but it just blocks any details on the character and for it that the down side to comparing with metallic

Yeah the last 1.5years felt chrome dominated. Batman, Thanos, Vegeta, Star Wars and now Hulk as well. I feel that the chromes helped me appreciate Metallics alot more eg. Thanos and Vegeta Metallic

RIght now almost all of them are boxed to be moved. Only things left out are things I need to sell...Which I have posted in the sales section. Surely , somebody needs some Dorbz, Vynl, or Conans from GameStop.

Personally I'm all chromed out! I love my metallic and glow pops though however. Out of all the different variations, glow may be my favorite though. Cuz my pops look awesome in the day, and even more awesome at night!

I'm with you on this, Metallic over Chrome, easily. I know it's not an option or really on topic, but I'd pick Flocked over Chrome if I had a further choice haha.

i love metallic but i dont feel that its been executed very well on most of the pops I like. Green Ranger NYCC comes to mind and sticks out like a sore sore thumb.

Chrome doesnt seem to have issues like metallic does, but it is really become repetitive.

Metallic definately. There are too many chromes now and so they aren’t so special although I still remember my first chromes . That and the detail you can still get with a metallic can’t be matched with the chromes which to me feel cheaper

Chrome can look good when the right color is used for the right character.. but I definitely prefer metallic overall.

Though with new chrome colors being made, some of them aren't bad too...

Honestly I used to love the rarity of Chrome and was amazed at the shinyness but now i feel like its on every variant and available everywhere. I still like the metallic variants and definitely add a more detail feel to it. I think Chrome works on some characters, but not on everyone. Metallic on the other hand works better on colorful pops as it just POPS!
