Like a phoenix rising from the ashes, I return to these boards for the first time in months to celebrate this most wondrous of occasions with my fellow Funatics!

Good golly, life has been so frustrating and busy on my end that I didn't even know that this entire drop completely took me by surprise. I guess NYCC is next month, isn't it? lol

Either way, I don't think I'm overstepping by saying that this is may be one of the most killer waves of con exclusives we've gotten all year, and already paints NYCC as the con to watch out for. I definitely need that Iron Man (y'know, the one Pop a lot of us have been hoping for since we saw the movie), and Amazon is usually pretty great at keeping their exclusives in stock throughout the day, so I'm a very happy man this morning.

And that's not even mentioning a brand new Stan Lee Pop, along with a whopping three brand new comic versions of characters? Yeah, if the rest of the reveals are even half this nuts, our wallets are going to be in for a fight this fall.

Oh, I'm so stoked!

As I'm still a newbie at this and have a horrible memory... how do we know when the walmart and amazon exclusives will drop? Or is it pretty much a guessing game?

Harry, Basquiat, and Haring all have ties to the NY scene in the mid-late 70s-mid 80s.

It took me a second to recognize the celebrities based on their appearance and name alone, but once you look them them, trust me, you know their work. Keith Haring's art is ingrained in my brain for the rest of time haha. Personally, I think it's cool that Funko is reaching into New York's rich history to find celebs that locals will really appreciate.

Hey! I know that Amazon tends to drop early in the morning and is usually a seamless, easy process.

Walmart, on the other hand...yeah. Let's just say that I've never had any luck getting any exclusive from them in all the years I've been doing this lol

Ironman is super cool! I also like that Funko is making more iconic characters from the art scene. Not familiar with them but i find them cool! Is it just me or does NYCC seem more awesome than the SDCC reveals?! So far at least. Love the marvel characters <3

Oh, it's not just you. This is only day 1 of reveals, we've only gotten a Marvel wave and a handful of celebrities, and it's already more unique and exciting than any reveal from SDCC (except maybe that Disney wave, which crushed it).
