WNBA Pop!s?

I have been thinking about NBA pop!s, and the WNBA came in mind, and was thinking. Should we get a WNBA pop! line? Would be great to see more Pro Sports Leagues like WNBA & MLS, and other leagues as well. What do you think? Should we get a WNBA pop! line in the future?

Not sure how popular it would be but maybe Candace Parker or Maya Moore.

I can definitely see them doing a WNBA run at some point, albeit probably a small run with only a few of the players. As for the MLS, I think it's kind of in the same boat, it still feels very niche despite how big soccer is around the world. Would like to see an Ibra or Rooney pop for sure, but not holding my breath for that.

Maybe in small runs as arena exclusives/giveaways but I doubt there’s enough market for large releases.

I would maybe consider getting some of the legendary players like Swoops or Leslie.. but I'd be lying if I said I knew anyone who played today.

Maybe. It depends on if Funko gets the licence for WNBA and how they want to release products based on WNBA.

i honestly don't think that the wnba league is that popular, just my opinion. I don't know if a pop line will do good at all..

If they made a small run of them, I can see them being arena only. That would help ticket sales, since collectors/resellers would be supporting the team financially just to get those Pops. Or even possibly team store only, if that exists.

This isn't a line the I would be interested in but I think it's a good idea! I could think of quite a few WNBA players that would be in Pop form.

I think a legend line like they did for the NFL could possibly do well. I'd also be down for a line of the US Women's World Cup team.

They can try to make some of the big names Pop to see how collectors react, if the market is big enough then they can make more.

Maybe some small LE sold during playoffs, but I have a hard time seeing a WNBA line mainstream successful.

This is a great way to test the waters and see if it would do some numbers. I do know the WNBA following is pretty small compared to the other big leagues, but I think there is still some value in doing it.

Yeah. I think stadium giveaways for WNBA pop!s would be a great idea. If the giveaways are successful enough, that could work towards WNBA pop!s being sold in stores.
