Probably not, since I think HP brings in even the non-pop collectors! HP keeps growing with each year as a new batch of 1st years is enrolled at Hogwarts!

They're still going through the movies too, and still a few to go so got a few waves at least of pops and mystery minis....too many of the same/similar kinds of poses and pops though. Need to shake things up a bit now with some of the stranger characters or animals.... some metallic or chases or something to keep me keen because honestly it's getting to big and not interesting enough for me...I have all the pops and the newest wave of mystery minis which are cute but the previous ones were better.

I'm still waiting for my 3-pack of Tonks! Different hair color on each, and a pig snout on one! I think they did a great job on the latest wave, at least with the ladies dresses. I am stocked up on Weasley's for awhile though!

It's so much nicer when we don't have to choose! Here's to having a flock of HIppogriffs!

Same. Usually I'll be fine with compromising and taking them out of the box anyways

I used to be so horrified at pops being oob, but I'm getting more and more okay with it. Just had this discussion today, actually, as I was 'rescuing' some homeless pops from a storage bin at my local collector swapmeet place. And I have to admit, the displays always look amazing!

The idea of rescuing homeless pops is so cute! I feel like you can enjoy all the details so much better when they're oob. I also have this theory that sometimes Funko purposely makes the back of pops interesting so only people who take their pops out know the secrets hahha.

That would've been great, yes! Not sure we'll get any more Remus pops at this point, he didn't change much what little we saw of him later in the movies. I would still accept a 2-pack though!

Thanks! Yeah, most of the oob pops I've ended up with were REALLY cool once they were free! I've also learned that some of them don't stand well, and really need their box. I haven't tested Buckbeak yet, not sure how he stands on his own.

I absolutely agree that they make pops purposely for OOB. Prof. Quirrell, for example? You know he's not meant to stay in his box!

In box collectors will never know the joy of taking off Professor Quirrell's turban and seeing the face of the Dark Lord. That was such a fun moment.

Good re: Buckbeak, that would be really disappointing if he didn't stand well on his own!

Terrible news about the Patronus pop though! What's he been doing, skipping leg day at the gym??? Seriously though...it's such a beautiful pop, and it's so frustrating when they don't stand on their own! I'm getting way too used to using quake hold, or masking tape, or 3m strips to make my top heavy pops stay upright!

LOL skipping leg day lol
That's some dedication actually using other strips to get them to stand up right. For me, I'm just like ok, I guess you weren't meant to be out of the box. It just sucks when they make some of the pop heads too big for their tiny bodies. I do like the stand they include for some of them - even though some of them hold up well on their own too. I also once got a stand that didn't even line up with the feet of the pop too. :(

Argh, why must we waste time thanks to horrible things like lives and budgets? I haven't seen any of my local stores still carry him, but I'll be further afield this Friday, I'll keep an eye out for him for you, if you'd like?

My stores have plenty lol
We never run out of stock here

Lucky lol

Very lucky
I have 4 HT within a 15 minute drive so even if my usual store sells out, the others are close by. I’m blessed to have a lot of GS, HT and BL near by. My Walmarts are garbage though.

The patronus had horrible balance and the stand is super large. His legs are too tiny to support himself so he needs the stand. Super frustrating for photography purposes.

Lol skipping leg day. Great one.
I use 3m tape as well. It works quite well, is clear and doesn’t leave residue. I prefer to store a lot of pops out of box.

In box collectors will never know the joy of taking off Professor Quirrell's turban and seeing the face of the Dark Lord. That was such a fun moment.

It's actually one I haven't taken oob yet! lol Okay, new weekend goal!

You won't regret it once you do!

Well, worst case scenario, he can go back in...!

It's so funny, when my god-daughter comes over, she's always appalled if any of my pops are out of their boxes! The look of horror she gives me is just hilarious!

Usually I only use the strips or other sticky stuff if it's something I'm going to use in a photograph. Otherwise, if it won't stand up on it's own, back in it's box it goes! I don't think I've ever noticed one of my pops not matching up with it's base, but that would be so incredibly frustrating! ](*,)

Very kind of Buckbeak to not be difficult about this!

That is really lucky! I have lots of stores around, but they're far in terms of traffic! I think that's the nature of WMs, generally...the good ones are rare, and usually not ours!

Thank you, thank you....I'm here all week!

I'm still leery of using the 3m tape on things that I cannot have peeling...furniture varnish, car paint, etc...! Have you tried it on anything like that? So far in those cases, I've been using masking tape or paint tape. They don't stick great though, and usually have a very short span for holding something upright!
