Battle Beasts

Postby methodsmadness » Wed Dec 11, 2019 2:06 am

I think this could be an AWESOME line with many many possibilities!

And how cool would it be if Funko added a the wood/water/fire hologram on the Pop and we didn't know which we were getting until we (gasp!) took it out of the box??

These would be make for some cool POP designs.
With the heat/touch hologram, I may have to actually remove them from the box lol

The characters would require a lot of great detail in pop form. Not for me though, but I know they would look great!

The eyes are almost perfect already for Pops, and MAN that hologram would be cool - could really change the in-box/out-of-box game!

I've never seen these before, but they're awesome! I kind of want the original figures now... They remind me of larger Z-Bots

I still have all my battle beasts and vehicles I played with as a kid. They’d be pretty cool as pops!

I wonder (and I am going about 3 steps past wishful) that IF they made these, and IF they added the mystery holograms like the original toys did...maybe they could put random/different holograms as they did before. Not only would you have to open the Pop to see which you got (wood/water/fire), but there are all 3 variations out there.

This would add a whole new wrinkle to collecting. And I think it would be awesome!

Wow haven’t heard about these in years. I had a small collection when they came out but didn’t last to long on the market. This would be a nice idea.

I feel like the toys I loved in the 80s were just a series of fever dreams that came and went...making a huge impact at the time for like, a week or a month...and then being lost in the golden haze of childhood. Like, did I ever own Battle Beasts myself? Or was I just playing with the ones I gave my friend for their birthday (???)...regardless, I LOVED THEM SO MUCH. lol ;-)

Right?! There were SO many awesome cartoons/toys happening all at once.
(And I had some Army Ants, too! But definitely loved my Battle Beasts more :) )
