Totally.
Empty box Bansky too
Some Banksy pieces would translate well to the Pop style. I wonder how he would feel about his art being Pop-ified. I feel like he probably wouldn't license vinyl figures.
Who knows? Maybe one day we'll see a Banksy piece in the Pop style out in the world.
I really like this idea and I totally agree. A lot of Banksy pieces would look really great in a pop style vinyl toy, but I also agree that he probably would never license it out. Might have to commission someone to make a piece in the mean time!
I love Banksy! Though I could totally see them licensing a figure... and then the figure will melt upon purchase. Or be carved out of food matter that will decay. Or forces you to take it out of the box because it's packaged inside out somehow. Or they'll cost several hundred dollars and be empty (just the box). Or something else that combats with the idea of commercializing their image. Which, tbh, people would probably still buy anyway.
