Totally.

Some Banksy pieces would translate well to the Pop style. I wonder how he would feel about his art being Pop-ified. I feel like he probably wouldn't license vinyl figures. lol Who knows? Maybe one day we'll see a Banksy piece in the Pop style out in the world. ;-)

I really like this idea and I totally agree. A lot of Banksy pieces would look really great in a pop style vinyl toy, but I also agree that he probably would never license it out. Might have to commission someone to make a piece in the mean time!

Definitely pricey but anything done by a artist can become expensive. I have been collecting Ron English pieces for several years now and love them. With Funko and Ron English teaming up I was ecstatic. Unfortunately I missed out on this one. I also had no luck with the both Freddy Ron English. Wish I had better luck. Would love to at least own the freddy Ron Englishes.

I really like the unique style of those pieces. It's creepy but also stylistic. Sorry to hear you missed out on the Funko collab, I wish you luck with finding one in the future! Who knows, maybe more variants will come out for cons this year.

I love Banksy! Though I could totally see them licensing a figure... and then the figure will melt upon purchase. Or be carved out of food matter that will decay. Or forces you to take it out of the box because it's packaged inside out somehow. Or they'll cost several hundred dollars and be empty (just the box). Or something else that combats with the idea of commercializing their image. Which, tbh, people would probably still buy anyway.

For sure. Those would actually look really great all stacked up in box. Especially if the box art reflected all the different color ways

With Ron's stuff selling out and seemingly popular, hopefully Funko will expand that style. I follow a bunch of designer vinyl groups and they are waaaaayyy against Funko but the Ron English stuff won some people over and may have created new fans. Add in some other popular artists of that style like Kaws, Coarse, Luke Chueh, Quiccs, Huck gee, and one of Brian's favorite artists Amanda Visell, there could be some really cool collaborations and new properties!
